At 5:30 this morning, as I was taking my shower, I noticed yet again mold along the bottom of my shower curtain liner (the plastic one inside the tub, not the fabric one that hangs outside). It seems like lately it's a constant battle on this liner. It's so old and stiff now and at least twice a week I say "I MUST BUY A NEW ONE!" ugh. But I've been working every day (subbing in a kindergarten) and honestly, when I'm done for the day the very last thing I want to do is go out to Target to buy a shower curtain. (have I mentioned before that teachers are saints??) So this morning it suddenly occurred to me -- what the heck am I doing thinking of going out to Target? Went on to Amazon, *click*, it will be here tomorrow (!) according to Amazon. I'm sure I saved myself money also, because when is the last time you went to Target for only one thing? Even if I go there for one thing I don't leave with one thing. What have you bought lately at Amazon that saved you money and a shopping trip? or, tell me how much you love Amazon Prime. lol

Well, I do love it. I still go to Target, etc, but when I was wanting a black and white chevron shower curtain, Amazon was the only place I could find it. And then I found a matching light cover, too. And a TV. And a toaster oven. A blanket, stick-up lights, an EHD, and a cable to connect my computer to my new TV. Those are just a few of the things that I have purchased in the past 3 weeks, in addition to books for my Kindle and watching shows on Amazon Prime!
Yeah, I really do love it.

Greenies for my dog. I have to make a special trip to go buy them at Petco because it's out of the way. Plus, the big box is $37 in Petco and it was $26 with my free prime shipping on Amazon. Yea, I won't be making that drive again.

It will save you money and you can just throw it in the wash and not worry about it ripping, etc.

I messed up yesterday and didn't use my Prime account. I shipped some K-cups as a thank you gift. It cost me $13 to UPS. Last night, it occurred to me I could have ordered them on Amazon, written a note in the gift box, and shipped for FREE!
I hate running around trying to find stuff. I buy makeup, K-cups, vacuum filters, and anything obscure that I'd have to run to 2-3 stores hoping to find.

Yesterday I bought a Cuisinart Griddler, Milk Frother and a box of 250 A2 Kraft envelopes. All Prime - the Griddler will actually be here TODAY!
Love Amazon Prime!

I went to my hairdresser the other day and got my hair cut and styled. She used the most amazing smelling styling products and my hair looked great!
I told her I loved the products and asked what brand she used. She said that she was using her own personal supply that she bought at a beauty supply store only for licensed cosmetologists and it wasn't available in stores around here.
When I got home I thought I might as well check Amazon. Sure enough, Amazon had it. It will be here Friday! Love Amazon. Love Amazon prime!

I love my Prime. I wish the Post Office would cooperate, however. They screw up on many of my orders...by delivering it to the wrong place and I never see it or being really late, like sometimes 2 days. They are so incompetent. I finally am going to quit ordering from QVC because returns through the post office may not make it and they have a new rule here (maybe everywhere) that they are not allowed to scan an outgoing package so I can trace it. Probably because they lose so many.

My addiction to jumping on Amazon to buy, well...anything, is just nuts. I justify until the cows come home. :::: sigh :::: it did save me $60 dollars on my Ott light over Michaels last week.
Over all Amazon with Prime has made life easier at time!

I love Amazon, but use Amazon Smile so my favorite charity - Martha's Mutt Movers - gets a portion of my purchases. Amazon is a great resource.

My Amazon Prime and I are very happy together. Funny, I just purchased a few shower curtain liners from Amazon - I change mine every month. My most recent purchase also included my first Vera Bradley tote bag. Sooooo pretty. I also recently purchased a great spot mop and a tall dust pan with broom. Oh, and on a p's recommendation, I purchased a few body books by American Girl for my girls. And there's Flexitol. And, well, I'll stop there. In my defense, the nearest Target is 40 minutes away, the nearest mall, and hour 10.

I love Amazon Prime. Unfortunately, because I'm impatient, I also love that some items I can receive the same day if I pay an extra $5.99. I did that with a set of Stabilo pens I ordered last week.

The costume my son wanted on Chasing Fireflies was $88. I decided to check Amazon yesterday & the same exact costume was $50 (and free shipping)!

I love Amazon Prime too!!! We use the streaming more than anything. We have bought a lot of movies that we can download and watch anywhere. I just bought a hand held vacuum, a Eureka, that had over 4500 five star reviews. It is awesome for picking up crumbs and pet hair. Another thing I love about Amazon that no one has mentioned is returns. I have bought two pairs of Crocs but both ended up being the wrong size. Within a couple hours of me dropping off the box at a UPS store, Amazon credited my debit card back for the amount with out any charge for the return shipping.
We also do Amazon Smile for our purchases and chose St. Judes as our charity.

I hear you! DD wanted a case for her laptop. Went to the Apple store and they were charging around $50. Checked Amazon...for $29, she got a case, a keyboard cover, a laptop sleeve and a mouse. A no brainer. Even though it wasn't eligible for Prime, it still arrived in 2-3 days.

The one I have now isn't cutting it for all the pet hair around here. TIA!

Well last week alone, I ordered glucosamine chews for the dogs, 2 pillow forms, straws, a filter for the refrigerator and an RFID blocking wallet. Recently I added the DFW Labrador Rescue for my smile charity.

We use Subscribe and Save to get food we love that is difficult to find around here (DH's favorite flavor of oatmeal) and we save a lot of money on cat food. I recently bought a fancy schmancy ironing board and couldn't believe I paid so much for it, but it is really nice and cuts down on my ironing time (vs. a small tabletop ironing board). Amazon Prime has definitely spoiled me; when I order something from another retailer and it takes more than 2 days to get here, I get supremely irritated.

Amazon Prime is the first place I look when I need something. I just got some keurig cups and a keruig cup holder last week from them.

I love this thread and I love my amazon prime!!! It is nice to know I'm not alone!!! lol I have an issue with Sunday delivery. Twice now I haven't received my packages on time because the mail carrier has straight out lied about coming to deliver. We have talked to the post office and hopefully it won't happen again. I need to plan my prime delivery shopping so it doesn't fall on a Sunday I guess! lol

LOVE Prime. But I made a mistake last week. I ordered a paper punch and thought, oh I'm not in a hurry, I'll choose the slow shipping and get the $1.00 music/movie credit.....OMG, I'm going nuts! It's supposed to be here today (a full week later) and the tracking hasn't been updated in 3 days so who knows if it'll even show up. Not worth the $1 credit.

I just did an Amazon order the other day, and it's been arriving in different shipments. I actually love that, as it's always a little thrill to see boxes on my porch each day. My order included:
A garden flag stake Herbal Essences Color Me Happy Cleansing Conditioner OPI nail base coat A Gamecocks hoodie

I am in love with Amazon Prime. It's especially nice when you have a kid away at college and they need something quick. I'm just mad that it took me so long to sign up.
And thanks to all of you who mentioned Amazon Smile! I didn't know about it until I read this thread. So I just signed up! Every little bit that goes to St. Jude is wonderful.

This has been my current frustration, too. Everytime they ship through Fedex Smartpost there are issues.

Thanks to the Peas, I got on the Prime bandwagon and now I am hooked!
I buy our dog's food there and we save over $10/ case, plus I know they have it and will get it here fast, so I don't have to keep an extra case on hand. The pet stores in our area don't always have his food in stock, so I was buying a new case when I still had a full case and a few extra.
This spring I bought coir blocks for a steal on Amazon. I'm trying to move away from peat based potting mixes, and coir is a great alternative. The blocks are HEAVY and would cost a fortune to deliver without Prime.
I also use it to send my college kid and my mom little treats. My mom loves coffee, so she gets decaf Keurig cups. DD gets whatever I think will make her smile, as well as whatever she needs for school, like a printer or paper or ink.
My charity of choice for Amazon Smile is The Foundation for Hospital Art. They are a client and we know they do good things and are fiscally responsible.

i did have the weirdest thing happen recently with my Prime. I ordered two of the same mop at the same time. One mope arrived the next day, the other one arrived almost a week later from a different fulfillment center. so weird. otherwise, I love Prime. I'm about to buy 32lbs of turf builder from them. no schlepping down to home depot. no lugging in to my car and into my house. just poof! at my door in a couple of days.
