Watch it! Even if she's not your cup of tea, which really isn't the point. It's NOT merely a comedy show.
In the interest of full disclosure. She's gay, Tasmanian, experienced some significant trauma and shares words of middle aged reflection.
If you've watched, please share what you thought. I laughed, but also cried for us all.

It's excellent.
ETA: I'm still processing it. I need to watch it again. I love that she's getting the buzz for this that's so greatly deserved, and I hope it opens space on huge platforms like Netflix for others to be this open and honest!

Thanks for the reminder, I’m going to watch it this week. I saw her interviewed about it a couple of times recently.

Absolutely brilliant. I watched it, then immediately rewatched the second half. That's where she gets into the serious social commentary. It is a stunning piece of storytelling.

It's on my list- friends on Facebook couldn't say enough good things about it. (though they did say they cried)

I just watched this. I'm stunned.
"Brilliant" is an understatement. Hannah is righteous. She's fierce. She's raw and gentle and wow.

Watched it yesterday. Eye opening and transformative... The part where she talked about the parts of jokes that she left out slayed me. It was so powerful.
