If you are like me, then sometimes, well, sometimes, I lose my mojo or maybe just my momentum. I have things I want to do but not the energy to do them. Also if my craftroom is getting unorganized I just can’t create. For this challenge, you’ll still get craft related things done, but not projects. For this challenge you need to spend some time on organizing, editing photos, cleaning, tagging digital kits, putting pages in albums, etc. Things that are needed, but not necessarily the fun part. Come tell us what you’ve done. This challenge runs all month.
For anyone.
For the June Team Challenge points you get 1 point for each one hour of work time. The time does not have to be consecutive, just keep track until your total is 60 minutes.

destined2bmom, Here's the July Get Organized thread. It always seems I lose a week on the beginning and tail end of vacations, in addition to the week gone. I hope you can start your craft room organization in July. ***************** Me, we're (dh & I plus ds will get pulled in) getting ready to FINALLY tackle the upstairs hall flooring and doors. I deep cleaned and organized ds's bedroom and am ready to start dd's bedroom. She is worse than ds. She's a little tornado. She's like her dad and cannot pick up after herself, hopefully that will change after I get her all organized. Fingers crossed. DS started driving class which means I lose half a day taking, waiting and coming home for most of this month....So I probably won't get much done in the way of my craft room for July. But I'm hoping for a miracle - extra time and extra energy.

LisaDV, Thank you! I am back in for this month! I am like you in that everyone else’s space gets taken care of before my little slice of heaven. My son’s room got last month’s allotted time.

So far this month I emptied about 4 tote bags into plastic totes. I actually took a few themes and got them into their theme bin. Right now on my bed is my summer bin, and I remembered a small stack of summer I had put aside and voila! it is now organized, haha! When I was going through those bags and bins I pulled out anything baby, grandma, grandpa, mom dad, etc and put it in a bin for baby. My 13 week gestation grandchild already has an overflowing bin of supplies, and I haven't even shopped yet! I did a wedding plastic bin also, for the parents when that happens.
I also got all my layouts from last Wednesday put away in albums.

myboysnme, emptying 4 bags and sorting is a lot already. Great job! And, applause on getting your layouts into albums, that's something I always put off doing.

Been wrapping my head around a possible out of state move and wandered into my scrap closet in the basement. sorted through (2) 12x12 rolling paper file folder holders, purged and donated the holders to a yoga friend. The things I found in those carts cracked me up!!! I actually found several incomplete class layouts from CKU and Scrapbook expo. Yikes - pulled them out and will decide to complete or purge this week. I was in that closet for 2 hours...made a small dent but still more to do..

(why oh why do they do that?!) my room is still a disaster but i feel better knowing my drawers are straightened out

pulled them out and will decide to complete or purge this week. So what did you decide? Have you gotten back in there? and let my cat in and out of the room 143 times! (why oh why do they do that?!) I totally get how just organizing a drawer that's gotten messy makes you feel better, but as for the cat thing. I'll be no help. I have my own cat troubles. Mine can open the door if you don't here that little click when closing. Luckily he's stopped sitting on my layouts while I try to work. destined2bmom, how's your room coming?

I'm not getting anywhere yet in mine. I did redownload ACDSee to get my digi supplies organized. I've started tagging too. ugh. it's going to take forever.
Room wise, I'm hoping to start by the end of the month with a clean up.

I organized for a few hours on Sunday because my son is moving into an abandoned bedroom where I had various scrapbooks stashed. I moved all of the scrapbooks into my scraproom and organized them on the shelf. They are not labeled so I would need to do that or if I want to pull one I'll end up pulling every one until I find the one I want.
Then I went through 2 books of paper memorabilia and tossed a bit of it, but not much. Lastly I organized myself for my crop in Lancaster PA this weekend when I go to CKC. I took an iris case, put in my current pictures, pulled stuff to go with them and a small assortment of cardstock. I feel confident I will be able to scrap most of those at the crop - which will be from about 3 to 11 but it's at an LSS so I have to make time for shopping.
I am so happy I am just taking a shoulder tote to this crop. I'm really 'perfecting' the skill of downsizing for crops!
BTW, look for me to post the layout of my son painting. I asked my husband to take those because I have more 'painting the room' stuff than photos, and I located all of it!

LisaDV have the layouts on my desk...not ready to complete them but still too attached to purge...how crazy is that!! Are these from the batch of class layouts you found? Finish them when you get the chance, but don't stress over them. I'm really 'perfecting' the skill of downsizing for crops! I'd say you do! I'm amazed with how little you take and how many layout you get accomplished and how fabulous they are. Truly a gift! Let me know when you post the layout of with your son painting!
