Any other stamp hoarders out there? I was never one to hoard paper, or washi, or embellishments. Instead I am a self professed tool junkie and stamp hoarder. I used to buy CTMH, then the Angel Company. I dabbled in Kelly Purkey stamps for awhile. Now I'm hoarding AE stamps like nobodies business. I recently became obsessed with Feed Your Craft & Elle's studio stamps.....oh my. I barely use any of them.....its ridiculous, but I love them

Yep! I totally do. I once told myself that stamps were one trick ponies and that I wouldn't need the same one more than once, but then got hooked on buying them. I try to use them, but I buy them faster than I can keep up, plus they come in kits so it seems like they just keep multiplying. I had 2 of the fridge binz that I did the Jennifer McGuire method with (I saw someone use 'Jennifer McGuired' on IG recently as a term and feel like it totally is, lol) but putting them in my Kallax units made the back inaccessible as they were too heavy to pull out (plus my kids would mess with them and push the containers back and the feet would get stuck...being that they are a pretty flush fit and the push back pressed it against the wall, they were difficult to get unstuck because of the weight) so I ended up buying a drawer system from the container store for them. At least in there, I have a full drawer of room to grow.

I am definitely a stamp hoarder, but I love stamps. I was a stamper before I was a scrapbooker. I use them for card making and scrapbooking. There are so many fun things that you can do with them! I've been playing with a few of mine this afternoon.
When we moved halfway across the country, I was not about to give up any of my stamp collection, so I unmounted my rubber stamps to get the weight and size of my stash down. It took awhile, doing several at a time, but I finally got them all unmounted before moving. They are fairly well organized, so I can find what I want relatively fast.
I have a huge collection. Back in my early days of collecting, a stamp employee told me, "If you can still count them, you don't have enough."

I’m more of one than I care to admit. To be honest, roller stamps are the worst. I adore them! I love how the look hanging up. I love to spin my spinner and look at them. It’s a sickness!
I’ve used most of the clear stamps I’ve purchased for stamps but those are kinda hoardy too. Lawn Fawn has more of my clear stamp spending money than every other company combined.

I used to make cards. I need to get back into it....it is a good way to use your stamps. I'm just afraid I will want to buy more then! Especially all those beautiful Concord & 9th ones.

Long time stamp collector here. We had a rubber stamp store in town when i was in high school in the 80's that my mom got me into. My stamp obsession grew out of loving the wood block Personal Stamp Exchange rubber stamps.
I have several thousand wood block stamps I've been collecting over the past 30 years.

Equal opportunity stamp hoarder here! I love so many brands! And now, since I make so many kid cards, I have expanded my collection of Lawn Fawn, Kindred Stamps, Sunny Studio, Taylored Expressions, Newton's Nook, Your Next Stamp, The Greeting Farm and others. My long time favorites are Avery Elle, MFT, Reverse Confetti and Concord and 9th.

I remember years ago when I truly believed stamping was never something I would get into because stamps are pricey and not as versatile as paper and embellishments. Then Two peas happened. And the blogs, and the videos, and then Pinterest. I should have listened to myself.....

I started out as a stamper before scrapbooking was even popular. Back then there were dozens of stamp companies and the uncounted rubber only stamps were really cheap, especially at the conventions. Needless to say I had a ton of them. A lot of those didn’t make it through the first Great Purge I got the numbers way down. Then a few years ago I started buying again. There are just so many nice designs out there. Plus these days you don’t usually buy just one stamp since they tend to come in sets. But I’m not over doing it and I’m trying not to hoard them. Now that I have a stamp platform I’m actually using them more often.

I started out as a stamper and then added scrapbooking. I enjoy making birthday and special occasion cards, as well as, tags and ATCs. My collection started with wood stamps and now I'm buying mainly clear stamps. As for stamp companies, I'm an equal opportunity hoarder, too. I started with HA, SU, Inky Antics, Darcy, AI, PB, PSX, House Mouse and Stamps by Judith. Now I'm collecting PTI, MFT, BM, LF, ME, and AN. Some of my favorite stamp companies closed like WM, TSG, and TAW but I still like and use (or hoard) the sets that I have from them.

My sister is definitely a stamp hoarder. She never got into scraping when my older sister and I did but she definitely caught up with "stuff". So many stamps. Granted she got them all at amazing prices but damn, she only uses them for Christmas cards and maybe a half dozen other cards. It makes her happy so keep on buying!!!

I swore off stamping years ago because I could rarely get images to work. Didn't matter the brand or ink. I was challenged. Then I got the Tim Holtz platform and I think I'm going to go down that path.

We all have our little weaknesses.
Another scrapper once expressed shock over my huge stamp collection, and kind of scolded me for how much money it must have cost me. But we rarely take vacations, don't drink or smoke, lived in a small house for 37 years, never bought fancy cars, and have no expensive jewelry or clothes. I never question others about how they spend their money. It's no one's business how I spend mine. DH doesn't gripe about my stamping and scrapping purchases, and no one else's opinion matters.

You can get a variety of heights, but I use the one with 10 rails...I have 4 of the double deep baskets for stamps and 2 of the singles...one holds things waiting to be moved to pockets and added to the stamp drawers and the other holds my roller stamps.

I bought a dozen of these Container Store Multipurpose Bins a while back in the large size, and use them to organize practically everything. Mine hold 12x12 paper lengthwise, 6x6 pads widthwise, kits in ziplock bags, and 3-d embellishments. I like that they are tall compared to fridge bins, and they are reasonably priced, especially for the Container Store. My stamps have outgrown their basket, so it's time to migrate them to a bin (or two!) Stamp and die sets are my weakness. They're expensive, so luckily that keeps the hoarding somewhat under control!

I have a TON of stamps. I blame it on my friend who became a CTMH rep--and my own complete lack of will power!
Just when I thought I could resist b/c after ten years of trying I could NOT colour an image properly, the fad of grungie stamped backgrounds became a thing, and by then of course I had also met YouTube, and saw all those people making such cool effects with stamps, so I kept on keeping on.
I ended up pre-ordering a whole seasonal Tim Holtz release, a bit at a time, and when I got hit with the credit card bill, I said, "NO MORE STAMPS"!!!
But then, the matching stamps and dies were here. And so cute. Plus Julie Nutting had to come out with those danged paper dolls. And I signed up for a Taylored Expression kit of the month, and...
Add this to the fact that I never seem to be able to part with anything, and you can understand why I have a whole cupboard full of stamps!

Hi, my name is Lexica and I am a stamp hoarder. I have two of those large wheeled units from bakeries that have multiple full trays that pull out. I really like keeping them like this because I can either shop off of a specific tray or just pull the whole tray to take it to my work table. The racks have large wheels on them too so I can wheel the whole rack over if I need it. I also purchased a zippered plastic cover That encloses each of the racks so that the stamps stay clean. That system is for my wooden stamps only. I also have a ton of clear stamps and use a circular rack to hang those.
i love stamping and used to make cards for donation as well as for my own use, but since all my leak issues and the upheaval in packing, I haven’t made a thing in over a year. I am looking forward to getting a new place with either a full basement or a separate shop on the property so I can set up my different stations for my paper goods, metal work, and wood work that I enjoy doing. I have most of my things in a bedroom right now and it is not big enough for my paper and metal things now, so one large area would be a dream come true for me.

I started out as a scrapbooker, but gave that up. That was 20 years ago and not that many exciting projects available at the time. Then I got into cardmaking 10+ years ago. I purchased 1 stamp, 1 ink pad and some cheap markers and paper. I thought I had everything I needed. All these years later, my craft room is exploding. Most of it is unused. Some days I feel quite depressed about it. But that hasn't stopped me from continuing to shop. I tend to hoard MFT, I own everything they've produced and I think I've made maybe 5 or 6 MFT cards. I hoard stamps, ink, paper and tools. And I've noticed that the secondary market is not strong like it used to be. You practically have to give it away to get rid of it. Anyone else feeling overwhelmed by a mountain of stuff?

I am beyond addicted to stamps. I rarely even use them while I do PL or scrap pages. But I must collect them all. I have about 3 large trash bags worth of SC stamps. Then I got addicted to collecting KP ones. I have most of the FJ ones. And any stamp that was related to DD kits or Christmas themed in general. I buy in the fear of not finding them again plus the new designs are so awesome these days. I also feel like I must buy the matching die. My current obsession are a new brand that I just stumbled across. Flora and fauna please have a sale soon!

I figured that kind of sale ($5 stamps) was never going to happen again and splurged as if I knew it wouldn't. Have I used any of them, yet? Nope. Do I regret it any? Nope.

My stamp hoard has often paid off. Example: I had a few Mickey stamps. I had no reason to think I would ever use them, especially now that my kids are grown, but I am scrapbooking our Disney reunion/vacation, and those Mickey stamps are getting used on my pages.
I frequently use stamps when I scrapbook. Not every page, but I like to use them either to embellish my layout or even create my own background paper when I had nothing I liked.
Because my stamps are well organized, I use them more than I did when they were in drawers. I have about 5,000 stamps at last estimate, based on how much my storage can hold. However, I can look through all of them quickly and easily and find what I want very fast. It makes a difference for me that I have them organized and easily accessible.
I use my stamps, therefore I can always justify buying more when I see ones that I want. But even if I didn't use them as much as I do, I would probably still buy them. Stamps are among my favorite tools.
