Please post all challenges for August team points in this thread. I will update this OP to add them in as they land. I will also be numbering them as we go. If it makes it easier for you, you can print off this thread at any time and have the most up to date list of challenges. Regular monthly challenges will appear as separate threads as always. I will provide links to those challenges and to this challenge thread in the Master List of Challenges for August. We will be trying to keep traffic on this thread as much as possible to challenges only, and stinkerbelle will be setting up a separate thread to share our creations (pages, cards, other artsy projects), and a third one for Team chat. Before you post a challenge, please read the ones that come before yours in this thread so that we can keep each challenge distinct. Also, please number your challenge as the next one in order from the last posted challenge. When you take on a challenge, remember to scroll down and read it in the challenge poster's own words. This OP will simply list the challenge titles, but may not have all the details. AUGUST TEAM CHALLENGE #1: Splatter It! This is an easy one. Whether you drip mists from the bottom of the applicator or use an old toothbrush to splatter paint, let's see some splatters &/or drips on your project.

AUGUST TEAM CHALLENGE #3: Three's the charm! We have had challenges asking for one photo on a page, and for 4 or more. For THIS challenge, you will need to put exactly three photos on your page. Oh, and you get a BONUS point if you use a CHARM anywhere on your page!

Easy peasy challenge, just make something using products from one manufacturer. For the month of August, we are using:

Feel free to mix in other supplies, but the majority of your project must be products from Dear Lizzy.

#11 Oh Yeah, Baby! I'm being sentimental because my oldest moves to college in two weeks. I've been thinking about when he was a baby & getting all the feels. This month, lets find a baby to scrapbook. Don't have any kids? grandkids? Then find someone you love and scrapbook them. Claim a point for each layout that is either about a baby or someone you love. #12 Page Maps I love using a PageMap to get started on a layout. Go to the PageMaps website and look through the August sketches and pick one to use! Claim a point once you use a sketch to make a layout this month. Feel free to look at the Card Maps for Aug as well. If you make a card, I will give you a point for that as well! Here is the link for Card Maps.#13 Put a Stampm(or two) on It! I have a ton of stamps, but I never remember to use them! This month, drag out your stamps and add them to a project (a card, a layout, anything goes!).For extra credit, if you use two separate stamp sets on a project, you get 2 points. Three sets? Three points! Drag those stamps and and get them inky!

#14 - Trendy- Remember the trends from years ago? Buttons, ribbon, eyelets, twine, paper tearing and more. Dig it out of your stash and put it on a layout. Maybe look at your older layouts for inspiration. An extra point for you if you post your inspiration piece.
#15 - School Days - First day of school? Last day of school? A special school project or event? Put it on a layout.
#16 - Go Steal It - Go to Pintrest and find a layout for inspiration. Then make it your own. Link us back to Pintrest for the original.
#17 - There's No Place Like Home - Your home now, your home when you were a child, a favorite relative's home. A home renovation or project. Record it in a layout.

#20 Mixed Media - I want to use what I have so get that mixed media out on your creations. To grab a point you must use at least 3 Mixed Media items on your creation. Can be combined with the stamping #13 and splattering #1 challenges above as well.

#23 Dig out the Alphabets! I have a massive box of old alphabet stickers & Thickers and I want to get using them. So 1 point for using an old alpha, you know the old ones, something that's a couple of years old at least. And a bonus point for using 2 or more alphas in your title.

#24 Random Icons! I'm bringing back stinkerbelle's Random Icon challenge because I loved it and it got me using some of those random bits! So use up those weird and wonderful bits from collections, the tigers, llamas, mercats, giraffes and donuts! You know those weird bits that you think hmmmmmm, when am I ever going to do a LO where a fox wearing a dress fits? Go on, just bung it on there!

#25 Washi It Up! Cause I need to start using this stuff up, lets get some washi tape out and use it on our creations. I'll make it a bit harder and say, use at least 3 different designs on your project for 1 point.

#26. Sparkle and Shine...I’m adding this one again to get further past my dislike for glitter. Use glitter Thickers, glitter paper or loose glitter on your page or card.
#27. Add some sequins...to make this a bit more interesting you need to add sequins in more than one color, size or shape. Use large and small, white and pink, flowers and stars, etc just not all the same sequins on your page or card.

#28 Donna Challenge a separate challenge here. Do either a Donna LO or do the equation challenge which this month is, use 3 hearts, 5 stars and something yellow on your creation. Take 1 point if you do the 'equation challenge'. Take 2 points for a Donna LO because it's a special LO so I think it's worthy of 2 points. Every month the equation will change to something different but I wanted to start with hearts for donna , stars because she's up there shining down on us now and yellow because it's a happy colour.

30. Other Crafts Challenge
Let's face it, we are a very crafty lot and do more than just paper crafting. This challenge is for sewing, knitting, or any other type of crafting, other than cards/layouts/PL.
The points for this challenge are 1 hour of sew/craft time = 1 point.

work on a previous DD or JYC album
do a December/Winter Holiday layout
do layouts for 2018 DD (all but the photo/journalling)
make a Christmas/Winter Holiday gift
*Winter holiday = Christmas, New Years, St Nicholas, Epiphany, Chanukah, Kwanza, Yule, Festivus, Winter Solstice...whatever you celebrate.

My contributions! 33. It's more fun when we're together! - your photos *and* story must be about more than 1 person here! 34. Feeling Edgy - use a torn paper edge on your page - anywhere! 35. Paper Bag Lunch - kraft paper is underused these days. It's a great neutral! Use it on your layout. But in the spirit of the name of this challenge, you can also get a point for using a glassine bag on your layout, and you get a bonus point if you use a paper bag! 36. Border Security - hey, even our pages need something to hold them in, right? So use INK or OUTLINE most the papers on your layout! 37. Level UP! - use pop dots/foam, or dimensional stickers, but thickers and chipboard and puffy stickers don't count unless you further pop them up. 38. OVERACHIEVER AWARD - 50 bonus points to the people who manage to complete ALL THE CHALLENGES!!! Ima gonna try! 39. Diet Ketchup - Is there such a thing as diet ketchup? Must be a sugar free version, cause I don't recommend reading the nutritional label on ketchup when you are on a diet. It will ruin your fries  Anyway, let's continue to go back and get some bonus points from old challenges, old sketches...BUT...you can only have a point if you've never claimed a point for the challenge before! So no more arrows for me  |

#41: Celebrate with me! This month is our 50th wedding anniversary. In honour of that, I want you to use the following on a LO or card (MUST HAVE ALL ELEMENTS TO CLAIM A POINT):
FOUR of something (we had 4 pairs of attendants at our wedding)
the word WEDDING &/or ANNIVERSARY &/or LOVE
at least one ROSE (and a bonus point if there is a YELLOW rose on your project (I carried yellow roses)
the colour GREEN (my bridesmaids wore jade green)
Metallic GOLD (It is our golden wedding anniversary...)
