My Jack Russell Terrorist had a middle name. Finnegan Mullins (last name). It came from a man I knew that I absolutely adored.
We often called the dog Finnie Minnie Mullins.

Posie Sue is our dog.
Mabel Mae is our kitten. I have also taken to calling her Tater Tot or just Tater.
Not sure why Vinny, our adult cat, doesn't have a middle name but he does have monikers: Asshole, Jerk, Demon Cat, Satan's Spawn, Varmint, Twerp, Doobus

Yes, they do. It's a family name... My middle name and my daughter's middle name are both Michelle... Our first dog was Ashley Michelle - we sometimes called her Ash, Ashy, or her full name if she was in trouble. We had her for 14 years. We got a rescue dog last year, her name is Allie Michelle. My daughter will call her Allie Cat or Allie-lee-lee-leeeee from time to time. I call her UGH DOG! (She's a handful.) When my daughter was about 4, my parents bought her a Weimaraner and she named her Alex, "like Alex in Wonderland!"

Yep!
NaWiliWili (Place in HI)- AKA Wili- His name at the shelter was Ben, so his name is Nawiliwili Ben. Funny story? Peni is Hawaiian for Ben. So, at HOME we call him Nawiliwili Peni. Heehee Nicknames: Silly Wili, Wilhelmina, Wiliwonka, Wili Bear
JJ Watt- The JJ in the real JJ Watt's name is Justin James. We didn't want to use James as a middle name, so his stands for Justin Jack. Nicknames: Crazy J, JJ, Jigglebutt, Damn it J!, Butthead, J Boo...
Our first dog's name was Bomber Scott. He was named after a Pro volleyball player named Scott "The Bomber" Ayakatubby. His last name was WAY too much for a dog name, so we used Bomber and Scott was his middle name. Nicknames: Sweet B, Mr. B. Bomber McBomberson, Budster, Budster Brown...

Yes! He's Finn Andrew Lastname.
Andrew because when we adopted him, DH wanted to name him Andy but I preferred Finn and Finn preferred me lol. He chose me as his person the moment we met. So I got to name him but we chose Andrew as a nod to DHs choice.

Our cats have formal names but were shortened
Our late cat was Ziegfried because he was muscled like a tiger and was 3 when we got him. We didn't really like Ziggy, but he did.
Gris is Grisouille (Griz-oo-yah) it's a French cute sweet word for a furry loved one that means little grey frog --she used to plop like a dog with her legs behind her
We called Ziggy Ziggles Ziggy man OWW! GET OFF ME!! (dh when Ziggy stepped on his balls) Go away! You don't have to be up our asses all the time. (most grateful rescue ever)
Gris is Grizzy Squeaky Squeeks Grande Dame You're OK. You're *really* ok. (she's got a little dementia) whore for the cuddles

Our oldest cat, Tobey was given the middle name James when he was a kitten by my son, who was seven at the time - he was a huge Harry Potter fan. Since Harry's middle name is James, I guess my son thought Tobey's should be too.
Our other two cats don't have given middle names, but have nicknames that we use as middle names. Riley is Riley Biley, and Ellerby is Ellerby Boots (he is orange with white paws.)

A couple of our animals do. Sadie turned into Sadie Marie. Lily turned I to Lily Mae. Tinkerbell and Chloe don't have middle names.

Remy (is Remington James) Too funny, I've actually called our Remi (or perhaps Remy, he's never said which he prefers) Remington James, but actually his name is Remington Flash (the kids picked the middle name). I only use it if he's being really naughty.

Our dog is Sophia Brahe Lastname, after an astronomer. But she gets called Sophie Sophilicious Sophalita Lala Wilbur (which I also call my son)
She also has an instagram account in a totally different name.
The cats are Perseus and Cassiopeia, in keeping with the astronomy theme. But they don't have middle names, only nicknames.

No but he has at least 10 nicknames because that what I do.
My last cat had his own last name and it used to kind of annoy me that his vet ignored that fact and officially gave him mine instead. Lol. He was named after a professional boxer when I got him and I liked it and kept it. His name was Vinnie Paz.
Now I have Vito and he is sometimes referred to as Don Corleone but that's not official. His roommate and wrasslin' partner, Eggs, is sometimes referred to as Sunny (side up) or Sonny (Corleone). IDK why my cats are Italian.

Two of the three have registered names and the third we never sent his paperwork in, so he's just Koda
Our GSD is Nita Vom Anderhaus, she goes by Nita or Nita Bandita My Samoyed is Moonstar's Midknight Ryder and he goes by Ryder
Of course they are also called liars, brats, jerks, the boys, or whatever the occasion demands

Well my first dog (the bischon/maltese) is Zero Jack, but my other one (shitzu/poodle) is just Max. I don't know why I didn't give him a middle name. But Max is only two and he walks like an old man so I call him slow polk.

Our older dog is Gryffin, which is short for Gryffindor, but not really two names, but our younger dog is named Kinsey Milkbone after one of my favourite detectives! But does Kinsey Milkbone eat McDonalds Quarter Pounders?
