My cat’s name is Baby Fu. I guess Fu would be considered her middle name, but it’s not really.

The few dogs that were actually ours when we were kids didn't have middle names. Most of the dogs we played with were my grandfathers Beagles. The other 3 dogs that were ours, we were 10 and under. The two I have now are: Mandy Michelle Felicity PecosThe three names I had as possible names for Mandy were in this order: Felicity, Michelle or Mandy. I didn't want to use Mandy because I still had Amanda. BUT I never ever called Amanda, Mandy because I wanted to use the name Mandy down the road. I called her Manda but NEVER Mandy. Her last brother died Memorial Day morning 2016 and I was frantically trying to find a Dachshund puppy that summer because I knew Amanda wasn't long for this world. I also knew that Amanda would eat better if she had come competition! And yes, it DID work! I got to meet Mandy at about 3 weeks old. When "B" asked me what I was going to name her so that she could start calling her by that name, I told her that I had planned to call her Felicity or Michelle but neither fit. I thought my third choice name, which was 3rd choice ONLY because it was close to my other dog's name... I thought Mandy fit her best. She said, you are SO going to have to name her Mandy! That is my mom's name! She said something like, that makes me feel like you are the right person for her. Oh, and I got to meet "B"'s mom Mandy a few weeks ago! Mandy will be two next week. Oh and like I told everyone, it would NOT be confusing for Amanda because we had recently realized that Amanda had gone completely deaf around the time last her brother died. Felicity Pecos is a rescue Dachshund. "J", the lady that rescued her only got that her name was Pecos. When "J" gave her to me, I thought... well, Felicity fits her when it did NOT fit Mandy. It felt "wrong" to call her Pecos, she was such a happy, pretty dog that Felicity fit. She is B&T silver dapple. So, we started calling her Felicity Pecos and eventually dropped the Pecos. "J" occasionally gets to see her and still calls her Pecos. Felicity Pecos doesn't care, she cares that she has people that love her now. Peaches didn't have a middle name but she would have if she'd lived longer. Sugar PlumOnkita Dwizzle Stix (CAME with papers with that name). The person that gave her to me called her Dwiz, couldn't remember that oddball name so picked out another name on her papers. Went with Onkita but within two hours, she was Kita for the rest of her life. It took only 2 hours or less for her to KNOW that it was her. She seemed to like her "new" real name. Snoopy Oscar Amanda Michelle Michel Snoopy Davy Jones Benji Trouble His mom's owner called Trouble because of how he was always escaping and nearly getting stepped on when they were tiny puppies. It SO fit him so I decided it was middle name. I never did call him Benji, was just the name at the vet's office... Jeannie Weenie (Chiweenie/Heinz 57 4 month old puppy covered with fleas and ticks that showed up at my house in the country years ago) With the exception of Peaches (found on the side of the road at age 7 weeks), died at age 1 and Michel who was NOT supposed to live past 2 months, he made it to NINE YEARS, two months and 10 days, all the others made it to within days or over the age of 14 with Amanda making it to 15 and Sugar Plum to 16. By the way, all the dogs above are either Dachshund or Dachshund mix including the one found on the side of the road and the throwaway found hiding under my car (in the country).

This boy, Ryder, just got two new titles this week - his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and his TKN (Novice Trick Title). This is an older picture from when he got his Rally Intermediate title in November.

Yep. Walter McFuzz Kit Snicket Boo Peppermint Pippin Meriadoc, Jo Buttons doesn’t have a middle name. Most people assume Buttons is her middle name, but she is Jo Buttons, never just Jo.
All my animals always have had full names.

Well my first dog (the bischon/maltese) is Zero Jack, but my other one (shitzu/poodle) is just Max. I don't know why I didn't give him a middle name. But Max is only two and he walks like an old man so I call him slow polk. Is Zero Jack named after the greatest movie ever made?

Our older dog is Gryffin, which is short for Gryffindor, but not really two names, but our younger dog is named Kinsey Milkbone after one of my favourite detectives! But does Kinsey Milkbone eat McDonalds Quarter Pounders? My dogs are both Boston Terrors, so they pretty much eat everything they can get their paws on 😉

Our breeder insisted she have a full registered name. Her father was a champion and Golden Retriever of the year for 3 years in a row in Canada's dog show circuit, so she wanted her to have a full name.
So, she is Carlie's Valentine of Diamonds-best Retrievers.
Carlie was chosen by DS (he was 5) for the show iCarly lol. Valentine was because we got her on Feb 14th.

No middle names but one of my Doxies was named Katarina Whippentale, Baroness of Atwood. That was her registered name. We just called her Kat. At the time we also had a cat name D. O. G. (deeogee).

Remy (is Remington James) Too funny, I've actually called our Remi (or perhaps Remy, he's never said which he prefers) Remington James, but actually his name is Remington Flash (the kids picked the middle name). I only use it if he's being really naughty. I don't know how we started with the "Y' for his name, because it does seem, everyone goes with the 'I'. and you would think I would since I changed the original spelling of my name from a "Y" to an "I"
I guess the James just flows, but I love that the kids picked out Flash

Our dog’s middle name is what our daughter wanted to name the dog as a first name. To avoid listening to her try and convince me what a great name it was, and being annoyed about the name I picked, i said it could be the second name. I had totally forgotten about it, but she just reminded me last week about the dog’s middle name, So it’s funny is coming up in a thread here now.

Nope, but he did have a registered name. Tucker was formally named Takari's I'm Your Huckleberry...because Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday was epic and this was the best movie line ever (IMHO) .

Our kitties have many names, but only the middle name is used when they are in trouble. The "in trouble" name is Elizabeth.
When Mayhem is a good kitty, he is "Mayhem", or "Squeaker Tall Tail", or "Fuzzball". When he is in trouble, he is "MAYHEM ELIZABETH!!!"
When Mischief is a good kitty, he is "Mischief", or "Chiffy", or "Meatloaf". When in trouble, he is "MISCHIEF ELIZABETH!!!"
This is in honor of my MIL's cat, Molly, who was more often than not, "MOLLY ELIZABETH!!!"
