I mostly watch makeup/skincare channels.
I've also watched some cooking ones (Asian dumplings).
And home staging, since I'm going to move soon.

Mainly things relating to scrapbooking, papercraft projects and Sewing. When I first had my Serger machine I found some really fab videos on " how to" instructions on what else I could do with it in addition to what was in the instruction book that came with it. I prefer to have visual instructions than written instructions.

I learned I've been crocheting backwards for twenty years just recently because I did a crochet along with video tutorials. Back when I learned I had to use a book to try and teach myself. All this time I've been doing it wrong. Retraining myself is tough

How to fix the model of dishwasher that my parents have. Also worked out how to clean the inside of their double glass oven door. Was on a roll that day! My son, 22, is a fix-it genius. I asked him how he learned to fix all of my computer issues. "Mom, it's all on YouTube."

How to reset the oil change indicator on my car. How to disassemble and clean out a garbage disposal. All kinds of how-tos for my iPhone especially related to transferring music & photos. Obscure cooking techniques.
I'm sure there's more. I love to do a little research and figure how to do things for myself.

It usually downloads as a pdf and there should be a cleaning section. In my case there was a way to remove the top holding bar and the front glass could be lifted out.

It has saved me when the damn instructions to install an item are so unclear! I often wonder how we got along without technology-my friend and I were driving some place New with the GPS and she asked how we did this in the old days. I said a lot of wrong turns and asking at gas stations.
