No, why would I? Life is too short. There are so many things I want to read that I can't keep up, so I am not wasting my time on something boring.

Not usually—life’s too short.
If it is something I NEED to finish, I will. But when I am trying to read for pleasure—no way!

Usually not. Very rarely I will. The last book I forced myself to finish was Wicked. I had started it 3 other times and it was just so awful. The last time I picked it up I vowed to finish it. And I did. But I freaking hated every minute of it.

Heck, no. I will read almost anything, so if a book is so bad or so far from my liking that I start contemplating whether or not I should bother to go on, it must be really bad or far from my liking. And if it's really bad or something I really dislike, why should I spend my precious time reading it if I don't have to?

The only time I will force myself to finish a book I do not like is when I have to. Now that I'm not in school, that situation doesn't arise anymore. I will give it chance up to 3-5 chapters. If it doesn't hook me in by then, I won't finish it.

Just echoing what everyone else has said.
Life's too short to finish bad books.
However, I usually give a book more than 50 pages before I quit reading.
I also have read a few books that took longer than even 100 pages to enjoy. By the end, I loved them. Code Name Verity is one that comes to mind off the top of my head. I didn't like the beginning at all.
