I am recovering from major surgery, and I am going stir crazy. I would love some recommendations for good videos and written tutorials. I need something to watch while I am on pain meds. Stamping techniques, various papercrafting, mini albums, layouts, card making, or even other kinds of craft videos that you can recommend would be appreciated, please.
TIA

Have you watched any card cut ups videos? He shows cards he made with various kits, 10 cards 1 kit kind of videos but without the process part. He's pretty funny. Or at least, he cracks himself up! > . < He might be pretty fun to watch while on pain meds Justine Hovey has tons of stamping and card making videos. I really like her. You might already know her but Mercy Tiara has a huge number of videos on her channel - layout process, craftroom tours, chatty stuff, all kinds of things. Some very long, extremely detailed organization/room tour videos. Someone here recently recommended Tanya Hubbard's channel and I liked her. She seems to have a lot of videos - kit club layouts, memory planning, art journals, etc. Hopefully something catches your interest Also hope don't go too crazy and the meds are kind to you. After I had surgery I found the meds were worse than the pain, they made me feel so sick. I ditched the meds after a few days. I got really bored with laying on the couch and I got really lonely and frustrated. Hope you have some people around you who can help you stay sane. Feel better soon! <3

Morning scrapnnana , I hope you're recovering nicely? Most people I watch are already mentioned. But here's a few more I watch for ideas on how to do this stuff in Photoshop: Mike Deakin - British art journaler Inkie Quill and Let's Get Inkie - Adele with scrapbooking/Project Life and art journalling Inklipse - Simon, young lad who makes cards
(I should do a video soon, been a bit low on ideas this last couple of months...)

I hope you recover well ❤️ I’m not much of a you tube watcher(can’t sit still lol) but I find a lot of tutorials and inspiration on Pinterest. I also started keeping a small notebook handy for when I think of ideas

Hope your recovery goes well! All I ever wanted to do while recovering was sleep, the pain meds knocked me out in 20 minutes flat.
I’m gonna have to check out some of these videos soon, thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I like watching My Creative Spirit - especially when I've been laid up. First, her projects (mini albums, folios, etc.) are like eye candy. Second, her videos tend to be longer and her voice is soothing. She does both tutorials and in depth flip throughs.

Glad to hear you are on the mend! Big hugs and hope you continue to heal.
Jen Schow has a series on using 6x6 paper pads. It's older but really good. I'm making my way through those & her series on "use it or lose it".
If you do pocket pages at all, I really like Amy Gretchen, Larkin Design, My Little Journal, and Dearly Dee.

Someone just recommended YennyStorytale in another thread - she makes a lot of her own embellishments and seems to love Michaels and her glue gun. I have just watched one video so far, but she's a nice change of pace from what I usually watch.

A good web site for mini albums is My Sister's Scrapper . She has tutorials on her web site on how to make the mini albums and she also has a YouTube channel. Here are a few blogs. These are on card making. Michelle BoyerMelania DeasyShe does beautiful pastel coloring with Copics. Laura BassenHer cards are usually bright and cheerful. Scrapnnana, hope you have a speedy recovery.

I love a lot of the ones already mentioned, but here are some more: I really love watching Nicole (Magourik) Spohr (pretty sure I spelled that name wrong!) I could watch her color with Copics all day! linkWhen I had my last surgery, I rewatched all of Jennifer McGuire's old videos on using Distress Inks (TwoPeas Thinking about Inking Series.) Really great stuff that I had forgotten. linkAlthough her style is not at all like my own, Lisa Fonseca's work fascinates me. It's fun and quirky and her videos are fun to watch. link
