I have just moved and have dealt with my old Staples desk chair for years. It hurts my back and it's stupid loud. My scrap room is now right beside my little guy's room and need something quiet, but I also want something small(ish), cozy, on wheels and definitely with arms. I've been looking at a few on Amazon. Does anyone have anything similar or can you recommend something like what I'm looking for? (these are all non-affiliate links) Chair #1Chair #2Chair #3Chair #4

If you go with #3.. I would defiantly not get white unless your heart is set on it. Any chair that I have had that is not black, really shows the stains, dirt, etc. Even my really really expensive chair that was over $600 (work chair) was stained after a few years.

I got mine at Office Depot. The advantage to buying locally is that you can test the comfort factor. I tried out the chair in the store.
It looks more like an office chair, but it is very comfy, and I absolutely love it!

I like #3, but definitely not in white!
I would want to try them before buying. Enjoy that new room!

I got my chair from Office Max. It's definitely not as cute as the chairs you're looking at but it's got great lumbar support and I could try it out before I bought it. My butt doesn't fit comfortably in just any chair!

My DD and I went through a lot of inexpensive desk chairs. They were fine at first, but got really uncomfortable quickly, one chair within a month. We bought these Lazy Boy chairs at Staples, and they are still comfortable, after close to a year. Most chairs did not last us three months. Love these chairs. They are normally $300.00, but go on sale for $200.00. I know that is a lot to spend on a chair, but we were buying them every few months, and spending about $100.00 each time. These chairs have lasted and seem to be made really well. www.staples.com/La-Z-Boy-Bradley-Leather-Executive-Office-Chair-Fixed-Arms-Brown-44762/product_1104593

I like that style that you are looking at - cozy and comfy, not so office-y. I would like the same kind of thing, but unfortunately I don't have any idea where to get one. I'd prefer to be able to try it out in person.

I'd definitely go with #3 because I'd ruin upholstery in a hot second (one dropped Distress Ink cube...) - and I'd probably go with not white, but if you have a foolproof cleaner, then you might risk it.

It's super tiny but I'm very thankful for it! It's my sanity room. Oh man. I was so excited to see you post something from Costco because I'm a HUGE fan of Costco! Unfortunately, I think that chair would be too large for my small space.

I ended up buying a gaming chair because it got outstanding reviews and it was STUPID. Like garagesaler I liked it for a while and then I hated it. My son took it to college and now I can get a new one. Yay! This one is now $199! I am tempted to try it. I'll see if they have samples at my Staples.

Pottery Barn has chairs like that. I’m looking at one for my new sewing machine, but need to wait until the kids are back in college to have time to run to the mall.

It's so funny to come across this thread because I was just looking at chairs for my craft room earlier tonight and I had put #3 in my shopping list in pink as a possibility!! I just hate buying a chair without trying it first! If you decide to go with that one ease let me know how you like it!!!

Pssshh. If you like the white, go with the white. I much prefer white around my house, so what if it shows everything? Just makes it easier to clean. I will say if you have 3 babies, I don't recommend the cream colored couch... that did not clean so well. :X

I was eyeing similar chairs a few months back at TJ Maxx. I ended up with an office chair that has a mesh back with amazing lumbar support. It's nowhere near as cute as those, but it honestly was more supportive and comfy than chairs that were twice the price. I was very surprised.
Of the choices you posted, I like #4. It does list memory foam, so it might be pretty comfortable.

My only comment from experience is to find a chair that you can sit in before you buy it! I'd be wary of purchasing without trying.
Chairs 1, 2, 4 - the "slopy" arm might actually get in the way of scrapping? You can't pull your elbow back beside you? I really like chair #3, especially the white (just to be different from everyone else LOL) because you'll be able to SEE what you've dropped, and the leather will just wipe up!

My room isn't big so I bought a chair without arms and a stool. Both are comfortable for me.
