So sad. Last report I saw mentioned she may have been being held captive and as awful as that would be it may have given hope to her family. Now they know the worst has happened. I have a daughter the same age and just so sad for her family.

I am so sad for her family and friends but at the same time, I am glad they at least can stop searching...so sad. I hope they find out what happened to her.

From the press conference that just took place and is airing in our local area:
An illegal immigrant has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the case of Mollie Tibbetts. Her body was located this morning. He led the police to her body. An official autopsy will be completed, but it is believed to be her.
So incredibly sad 😢

CBS reported that Mollie's body has been found and a 24 year old illegal immigrant has been detained.

Very sad. I'm glad they found the body and her family can stop looking. This is so awful for a family to go through and even worse when they don't find a body.

I was hoping this would be an Elizabeth Smart type case where Mollie was eventually found alive. I know the rural community is reeling from this crime.

What a tragic end to her young life. I figured she was dead. I'm relieved to hear that they found her body and have made an arrest.

From what I've read, he killed her the same day she went missing - I'm thankful she hasn't been suffering all these weeks. |

I'm so sad for her family. I really had hope that they'd find her alive since it seemed like they thought it was someone with whom she was familiar.

It's hard not to think of it like that but I do that too, but I can't imagine thinking thoughts of her family and the time. Bless them and all who knew her! I hope he pays for it. |
