These look really nice! I think I'll get some to start using for Starbucks and restaurants.

oooh I was looking for some - perfect.
Gotta love Amazon - below it says these things were bought together : straws, eye stick for puffy eyes and acne pimple master patch ... talk about things that don't go together!
I'm ordering the straws today!

I'm glad to have another recommendation to try. I have these and I do not like them. I don't like the silicone or the extra large size. But I need something somewhat flexible to fit into my yeti lid. Do you know if these will?

Thanks for taking on the task of researching the best straws! I'm telling you, I was going to be like the people who are afraid the government is going to take their guns away. Except instead of hoarding ammo, I would be hoarding plastic straws LOL!!!

This is going to be random but how wide are they? I found the Universal refillable mugs on Ebay (the ones with the RFID chip in them that you pay through the nose for in the parks, then pay a less through the nose amount to reactivate for the day) and bought them for a good price, but told the seller they could keep the straws (I'm cheap but not that cheap). The holes for the cups are TINY, I was thinking i could just buy new straws for us but now I'm nervous they aren't going to fit.

And my daughter thanks you! She's gone on a crusade against straws in the last several months, enough that it made me feel guilty when we ordered milkshakes and needed to use them.

I got some at Target as replacements for my Aladdin plastic lidded cups. You might want to pick up a brush you can clean them out with if you don't have one. I don't put mine in the dishwasher, but I absolutely use a brush to clean them out thoroughly. The brush I use came with a baster but I only use it for straws.

When I clicked on Patter's link, when you scroll down for similar items, there is a straw advertising that it is slim. Maybe that will work. And yes, I bought straws. Freaking enablers you peas are.

I went out for lunch today at a small restaurant. I've been there before, but this time the water came with a straw. Never before was there a straw with my water. I asked for a re-fill and got another glass with ANOTHER straw. I told the waitress to please take away the new straw as I could use the same one. She just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I am going to bring my own straw from now on!

Except instead of hoarding ammo, I would be hoarding plastic straws LOL!!! I know! I’m a bit panicky that they will take away my straws. Why can’t they make the recycling equipment work for straws? There are so many other items they have adapted the equipment to recycle it. I’m all for responsible use, but darn it, I need a straw to drink!

It looks like the ones that Patter linked come with a small brush sized to fit the straws. The straws look great - I may order some, but I've been looking for replacement "bendy" straws, as that's what we use the most in our house. I'll need to look into whether these come in a bendy option.

Do you know if these will? I bought a lid and straws for the Yeti on Amazon. They are really thick and will last forever. I guess they aren't flexible though.

We bought the tervis ones a couple of years ago, for smoothies. We already had a small brush that cleans them perfectly. They're still going strong, 2 years later!

I give them a brush inside and then run through the dishwasher. LOVE these straws. Perfect size. I cut a few down too for my smaller Tervis so they weren't so tall. Left some straws long and made some short.
