I only watched the first couple minutes as I'm short on time - but awesome!!
SO missing it already, and we were just there in May! We loved dinner at Boma, and loved wandering around AKL. Total pipe dream to even think of staying there though. We stayed at Riverside, and really enjoyed it. Beach Club is on my bucket list!

Love your video.
I posted a question a few days ago about the pole you used but I guess you didn't see it. How did you keep it so steady when walking? I shot some video last weekend while walking and it's so shaky. I tried using the stabilizer feature on my editing software but it's still not good. At this point I'm seriously considering the handheld Gimbal 3 axis stabilizer but I sure would like to find a way to not spend that $300+ it costs.

What kind of mount were you using when walking with it? Shooting smooth footage I think is the #1 challenge with these cameras. At Disney I shot using a Platinum pole that was folded down to about 9" most of the time (its minimum). I usually hold it fairly low, say around waist level. The camera sits at the top of the pole. I think I was more successful in achieving stable footage in the Costa Rica video. On that trip I mostly used the GoPole EVO. GoPole EVO linkThis pole is fixed at 26" long. There are two tricks to using it. Number one, hold the pole so that the camera is hanging under the pole, not perched on top of it. This means that you are shooting upside down. It is super easy to rotate your footage in iMovie or whatever editing software you are using, but having the camera hang rather than trying to 'balance' it on top makes a world of difference with a pole like this. Number two, when you're holding the pole in one hand (say your right) with the camera hanging below the pole, use the back of your left hand pressed against the camera to stabilize it. You'll need to make sure the bolt on the camera is tight so you're not inadvertently pushing the camera to a different angle. But this really helps as well. Here is a video that shows what I mean: YouTube linkThe video is by a guy named Mic Bergsma who has hundreds of tip and trick videos for the GoPro on YouTube. They are a fabulous resource! Sorry, that got long winded, but I hope it helps.

I loved your Costa Rica video, and this one was great too! You take great vacations! Can you tell me what font you used for your titles? Love that one, and would love to use for digi scrapping! The font is called Duality - hope that helps!

Awwww! I loved it! I watched the whole thing and considering I have not been to Disney since I was 11 (41 year old here) now I want to go! And I am pretty sure you just sold me on a go pro too!

Oh my goodness! What FUN memories! Thanks for sharing! This really makes me want to go back to Disney soon. Haven't been since our son was around 4? He's almost 12 now. Funny thing is that we used to live not too far from there. Now we're about an hour away.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your video is so timely. DD19 has been really depressed the last few days, took an overdose on Tuesday night and cut herself badly yesterday. (She has a long history of impulsive and extreme self-harm.) We are going to WDW next month and I've been trying to get her to focus on that to get her through this bad time. We watched your video and it made her so happy. It reminded her of everything that she loves about Disneyworld, and also highlighted some of the new stuff that we haven't experienced so far. She even said that she feels better after watching it, and is now planning where she can use her GoPro. So thank you again for making this, it has made all the difference tonight.

That was great! Thanks for sharing. Now I want a GoPro (great advertising) and I want to relive all of my previous vacations. So much fun! And now I realize how much I miss Disney. We had annual passes for so long and now that my kids are older, they prefer theme parks with much crazier roller coasters. I may have to bribe them to get at least one more Disney trip out of them.

is this a good price for it??? go proI am not really able to comment - I'm in Canada, so it's like talking apples and oranges, I'm afraid. I would wait at least a few more days before pressing the buy button though - I think I read that the GoPro 4 comes out next week, and you might see a price reduction when that happens.

I am blown away, that is awesome!! I have never understood the attraction of the GoPro, but having watched your video (I'm halfway through) I can totally see why they're so good. I WANT ONE!
I laughed at the part where Mallory had said she hated rollercoasters but after you 'forced' her to go on one she rode it half a dozen times!! Last time we went to Luna Park (small fry compared to WDW) there was one ride my 9yo son refused to go on. I ended up paying (ie. bribing) him to go on it, then he spent the rest of the day going on that ride over and over. Sometimes they just need a little push!
