Do you wear a fitness tracker every day? My birthday is coming and DH thought I might like a Fitbit or something like it. I’m just not sure I want to wear one on my wrist every day. Anyone have one they like?

I have a fitbit alta, which I really like. I wear it pretty much every day. I bought some alternative bands -- one is a double wrap around leather strap, one looks like a silver bangle bracelet, and two are plastic with flowers. So I can pretty much dress it up or dress it down. I find that it really keeps me conscious of my movement through the day. I sit behind a desk, so if left to my own, I could easily not get up for 5 hours when I get focused on my work.
I have to say that fitbit has had very erratic quality - I've had them for years, and some were complete lemons. They tend to push out new software that bugs up the tracker for months before they get it fixed.

I have a fitbit zip - it's a clip on and runs on a battery. I too don't like to wear something on my wrist, this is perfect, you clip it on your pocket, waistband or even your bra, it's small no one can see it, your are free to wear a watch or whatever else you like on your wrist! It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the wrist ones have, but it tracks your steps and miles and minutes of activity.

I have a Fitbit Charge HR 2. I had the first one before I replaced it with my current one. I've been wearing a tracker for almost three years and it's been a good thing for me.

I have a Fitbit charge 2. It is just like wearing a watch daily.
They have bands you can buy to switch it up a bit

If you have an iPhone you have one. It's within the Health App on your phone. If you carry your phone it's tracking your steps now.

I also have the charge 2. The bug thing I don't like about it is the vibration is do light that I often don't feel it. Otherwise, I really like it. I too have bought a different band.
I hesitated on getting it because of the wrist thing. You actually wear it just a little higher up than I ever wore watches or bracelets (till I couldn't stand then anymore) and that seems to help. There are times when it really bugs me so I will take it off for an hour or so and then I am able to put it back on.

I have my Apple watch and I love it. I'm active and don't need a tracker, but there are some days that I fall behind and I love that it keeps me going. It gives me that little extra push on the days when I need to be pushed. Even DH uses his iphone with an app to track his steps.

The ones you wear on the wrist are great, but when I'm on the treadmill, My lack of balance means I have to hold on to the handles, and it does not count steps. I ordered one that clips to my belt. I have an app on my phone, but I don't always have my phone with me. and I run into the same problem on the treadmill...I'll keep you posted when I get the clip one.

I have a Garmin Vivofit. I have had it for five years now and it still runs great! It runs on a watch battery so I don't have to charge it, and it is waterproof so I can swim with it too.

I have a FitBit One and have had it for a very long time. It's one of the ones that clips on. I clip it on my bra and wear it everyday. I love it.

I wear a Fitbit Alta HR I believe. I have a leather band that makes it look like a watch. I like knowing how much I've slept, walked and exercised.

I wear a fitbit Flex 2 every day. I love that it's waterproof so I don't have to worry about it (but I do take it off to shower or if I'm swimming in a lake). It just yesterday did something funny & now won't sync or charge so I'm a little nervous. I did see that Fitbit came out with a waterproof watch style, but I don't want to have to buy a new one right now...

I have a Fitbit Alta HR. While I like seeing the steps/mileage, I like the heart rate function much more. It was very eye opening to see that my 30 minute walk wasn't making my heart rate hit the Cardio range. So I have learned to watch my heart rate to make sure that I am getting a quality workout in. And I've seen improvements in both weight loss and stamina. But I can't sleep with the thing on.

I have an apple watch and love it. I have had it for 2 years and never had any problems. I like that it's multi functional and can track no only my running but also my yoga or weight training (as well as all the other bells and whistles like texts and phone calls).

Did you wear a regular watch before getting the Apple Watch? I’ve never been a watch wearer and I’m worried it would be too big for me and I won’t wear it. DH loves his, but he’s always worn a watch on his wrist.

Things to consider. What do you want the tracker to do
Do you want a waterproof one ( I mean if your cleaning or do you swim)
Do you want one that monitors your sleep

I have the newest FitBit Versa, it's primarily a fitness tracker but it has some smart watch features as well. I'm quite happy with it. I also have an older FitBit one and I can have both on the same account and alternate which one I wear, but since I've had the watch style I've only worn that. I have the plain black on and it's waterproof so I can wear it at work as well. They have a Rose Gold version with a pink fabric band...I love the look of that one, but not practical for me.

I haven't had any problems adjusting to wearing it.

I wear a Garmin. It's the vivomove HR I think. It looks like a watch with an analog watch face. People are amazed when I tell them it's a fitness tracker. I love it. I was a diehard fitbit user until this Garmin
