Most mail I send internationally (NZ, UK, Europe) gets there in about a week. Sometimes there's a delay on their end, like when the British mail system takes an extra week to get something to my friend in the north of England. I'd say that is more likely to happen in mid-December when everyone is sending cards. But generally assume a week or two. So anything sent near the end of November or early December will get there around the right time. Sending stuff now would be too early for me. I'd wait until the week of Thanksgiving if you're ready and excited to get stuff into the mail I'm wondering how many people pay attention to the stamps...? I have a bunch of extra regular stamps and the new Coca Cola Santa stamps are not inspiring me. I think I'm going to use up my National Parks, Disney villains, and bioluminescent sea creature stamps and hope no one cares. Oh no, am I overthinking already...? lol See I love the Coca Cola stamps....I'm pissed they don't have the Peanuts ones anymore.Real world problems right here;) I’m hoping no one minds Halloween stamps. And solar eclipse ones and whatever else I find!!

The bioluminescent stamps are VERY cool. Much cooler than weird old 50s Coke Santa IMO.

It was, the wish itself was beyond excellent. Being in Times Square on election night was weird, interesting and so fun. The empire and top of rock impressive.

Been a busy little bee the last few days and I have 50 cards finished. This is the first year I am making my cards, and it has been fun. Goal is to have them done and mailed out the day after Thanksgiving. Will see how it goes.... Just saw the update that some of the cards have been sent out already....I am going to take a walk to the mailbox... was avoiding it because of the rain, but I have an extra incentive to go out now. : )

I hope you all don't mind another question for US Peas I planned to stamp all the domestic cards with stamps, and when I dropped them at the post office, let the counter person do their magic with the international cards. Sounds time consuming and I'll be the random lucky postal employees favvvvvvvvvorite person I'm sure! I went online to order my domestic stamps, and saw an International stamp! Supposed to be good in 190 countries! I couldn't find a list of the 190 countries- of course! Also, each stamp is $1.15, is it less expensive to mail cards to some other countries on average than that (from US..) if I go to the PO and let them stamp them? I just want to be able to mail as many cards as possible, so a couple quarters here and there will help Receiving theshyone 's card really got me in the spirit to work on my cards

She told me Canada and all other countries were the same. I got two kinds of stamps for all the cards. I had none left over so I must have counted right. Psa I am Canadian and mailed in the USA.

It may have been in the past - I think Canada used to be cheaper from the US, but not for the last several years. Go ahead and get those international stamps and save yourself the hassle of going to the counter. I personally think it is wonderful - I've used them the last several years for the swap and it makes life so much easier...you're able to just drop them in a box like you would normal mail. And I know it will cover all the major countries that we have peas in...no need to worry on that account. England, Australia, Norway, Canada etc...

At last count I have 122 done. 30 of those are some cute ones I picked up at the store last week. I'm getting to the too much stuff to do and too little time to do it stage... My cards for friends and family are almost done, and I have a few extra in there for the swap as well, so I need to get those done and count how many more I need to work at. I printed the labels yesterday, so next is a count to order stamps and start the addressing, stuffing, and stamping portion of this. I did get my card from theshyone yesterday. So cute!

Domestic, if you have your cards metered, it will be $.47 each. If you put a stamp on them, $.50.

My cards are all made, labels are on the envelopes--that just leaves the stamps. I picked them up yesterday!!
Thanks, the shy one, for my card.

I'm working on my cards this week. I am hoping the Canada Post strike gets resolved. They have been on a rotating strike but may go full on strike. Sigh.
