For those of you that commented or asked, the city name on my card was made for my city as we are hosting the 2019 Canadian winter games. It’s a big deal pulling the city together for this. We have a few of these signs around town for it.

I'm working on my cards this week. I am hoping the Canada Post strike gets resolved. They have been on a rotating strike but may go full on strike. Sigh. Sigh is right. I don't know what to make of this - saw news today saying to expect all our mail and packages to be delayed into January. Having my mailbox filled with cards is one of the highlights of the Christmas season for me, and I'm sad to think it won't happen this year. What's the general consensus of the other Canadians? Last week they were mentioning that USPS and other foreign mail services were being asked to refrain from shipping anything across our border: www.cbc.ca/news/business/canada-post-strike-1.4909208

And well I sure wouldn't mind at all. Maybe the international Peas to us in Canada can refrain from sending out their cards to Canada for now? I'm more annoyed about my kids school pictures. The company we have sends them to your home. And I'm not paying an arm and a leg for faster delivery which may not happen. I usually put their pictures in with my cards to family and friends. For now I'm just going to make cards and get them ready.

I managed to get two dozen store bought cards in this mail this weekend. A little mix of US and international. My 4 yo signed her name and I tried to chicken scratch a short sentiment. Sorry it’s not perfect or ideal but I just wanted to participate, even if really small, and today is my due date with my second, and honestly surprised I even managed to do any.
Thanks again for doing this. With all the attention I imagine the new baby is going to take, I hope this gives my daughter something to look forward to... holiday cards for her!

kikitwo love the card, especially the hair! My sweetie broke his collarbone this month and I am having to do a lot for him and his chores! I am going to be a little later getting my cards out but still hope to before Christmas 🎄!

Our held mail just got delivered after our Thanksgiving break and there were several cards in there including joteves card all the way from Portugal! Yay! Thank you I'm going to find a nice spot to display the carts this year. Last year I was sick at the beginning of the season and never quite found the energy to clear off a space (if my little house even HAS that much space...) So many lovely cards! I dropped a bunch of cards in the mail today. Sorry to hear that Canada's mail system is still in chaos. I posted those early last week with the other global cards so I'm crossing my fingers they arrive in time for Christmas.

I’ve mailed my first batch. I have received 3 lovely cards!
I have a handing tin container I usually put them in, but they are so pretty that I’m going to put them on the piano.

I saw some ribbon with clothespin card hangers at Marshall’s that would be super easy to do. I think I may do that.
Of course I should get started on the cards.

It's a beautiful sunny day in Portugal, doesn't feel like the Christmas season is right at our doorstep, so it was a surprise to open the mail box and find several Christmas cards already. Thanks everyone!

They have some with christmas trees and snowflakes on the clothespins at the dollar tree! I did this last year and really liked it. Doing it again this year.
