Should I use a certain paint? I found a glass i liked and want to replicate it for me and 3 friends for our Halloween party. Any ideas?

I believe there is a specific paint for glass at and craft and hobby store. I'd love to see the finished project!

Sorry I pressed reply before I'd finished there! I think normal paint would run, the glass paint will be wash proof.

Use paint specific for glass paint. Hobby Lobby should have it in stock. It is a clear paint and I think you have to put the finished pieces in a hot oven to set. Have fun!

There are acrylic enamel paints that say on the bottle that they can be used on glass, but they need to either cure for 21 days or you have to bake them. It's usually 30 minutes at 350 degrees, but you have to put the glass in a cool oven, turn it on, cook for 30 minutes, then turn the oven off and let the glass cool in the oven. There will be directions on the paint bottle. I still wouldn't run it through the dishwasher, though.
