I’m realizing I look down most of the day at work doing paperwork. When I leave the house, my bangs stay swept to the side, but by half hour into the work day my bangs are in my face.
I’ve watched tons of videos, tried lots of (inexpensive) product, drying different ways, etc. Short of plastering my bangs to the side, how do you keep your swept bangs if you look down a lot?
Thanks!

Bobby pin. I have a cowlick on the side that my bangs hang down and despite strong hairspray, they always flop. So if it's a day where they drive my crazy, I pin them back. I swear my bangs are immune to hairspray. I can have it like cement and by the time I get to work, they are flopping around again! And they definitely won't stay if I part them on the other side either. So, in conclusion, I commiserate!

I’ve seen many cute styles like that and I just can’t do it. I can’t stand having my hair hanging down in my face and getting in my eyes so I automatically have to rule out any hairstyles like that. I hope you can find a way to make it work for you!

Thanks, guys. I usually have it pulled back, but I’m hoping to leave it down sometimes, too.
I’ll keep working on it and let you know if anything works!

Mine ends up tucked behind my ears pretty quickly.

I fight this all the time. I see some people seem to be able to blow dry their hair so they sweep back but I have hair that naturally falls forward. My hairdresser is beginning to drive me nuts with her insistence on the side swept bangs. When I sleep they fall in my face, when I ride my bike they fall in my face, when I look over my should er driving, yup they fall in my face. She tells me to use bobby pins. I have never used bobby pins, never needed to and all i want are some shorter bangs. I have taken scissors to my own bangs to do this and my hairdresser cringes. Who created these pesky side swept bangs that only look good if you are able to sit and never move. Add me to this who commiserate.

Look up side swept bangs in Dominique Sachse’s YouTube channel. She has a tutorial for styling them with a blow dryer and round brush that does a pretty good job of keeping them swept to the side (with a little hairspray).

Dry with a round brush then tease the base of your bangs working from the back side. Spray the underside of your bangs with hairspray, place them where you want them and give another quick spay. I have thin hair and this actually works quite well. If I just spray my bangs without teasing they still fall in my eyes, just in one big stuck together bunch.

Been there, done that, I feel your pain. You need to INSIST on a different style. If you don't, you'll need Bobby pins, barrettes, headbands, and lots of time with a blow dryer, round brush, and hairspray. But seriously, a new hair style will be the quickest return to happiness.

I don’t have side swept bangs bjut my hair is still always in my face since my last haircut. It’s like my hair is parted ear-to-ear.
