I just went to this store, Crafts Direct, located in a city of 70,000, and was shocked to see the huge range of scrapbooking things they had from so many brands! Even back in the peak scrapbooking era, this store would have been huge, with aisle after aisle of top brands. I couldn't believe such a place still existed, and seems to be doing well!
It left me wondering what are other stores like this still left in the US--a really large scrapbooking physical store. So quite a bit bigger than average LSS, more of a competitor with an online store like ACOT, but still has the physical store location to visit.
Do you know a scrapbooking "really big" store still out there today, and where is it?

I went to this one near Pigeon Forge, TN once. www.yourscrapbookstore.com/It was huge and there was a discount scrapbook store three doors away.

I haven't been to a real LSS in years, sadly. I don't know of one anywhere around me.

I have a couple of LSS left in my city but they're not large (especially by North American standards). I wouldn't go without checking what's actually in stock as they're both on the other side of the city but do like to do some shopping there as I recognise it's so hard to keep things going. .

The closest store to me is over 3 hours away. They used to have a huge store, but I stopped when I was in their town back in the summer and its a shell of what it used to be. Mainly mixed media and themed stuff now. I would not go back.

I was going to mention Your Scrapbook Superstore in Sevierville, TN as well. That store is huge!. Spent 8 1/2 hours in there one day. LOL. Two other LSS that may rival the one is TN are Daisy Lane in Mattoon, IL and Scrapbook Super Station in, Butler, PA. It's been a few years since I was at Daisy Lane and they have other crafts besides scrapbooking, but most of the space was dedicated to scrappy goodness. They had the largest selection of ribbon that I have seen anywhere.
Two other stores that aren't as large as the three that I've already mentioned, but larger than most LSS are The Scrapbook Factory in O'Fallon, IL and The Doodlebug in Jasper, IN.

It's not huge, but they have a lot of stuff. Memory Bound in Ankeny, IA. They are about an hour from me, so I don't get there often. But I love to get in on their Garage Sales that they have. It's a great way for me to get rid of stuff and I get store credit to spend.

Pine City Scrapbooking Company is crammed and usually gets in the newest things. It's an easy drive north of the cities, about half way between St Paul and Duluth.

If I’m not mistaken, I believe there’s a good store in Knoxville, Tennessee. I’ve been meaning to get down there. I haven’t been to Tennessee in two years.

Heartfelt in Sandy, Utah (near Salt Lake City). I was there in August and as auroraborealis said about Crafts Direct, this store would have been considered large during the heyday of scrapbooking...and that's just half of the store! The other half is quilting paradise. Finding that store just made me so happy! www.heartfeltpages.com/ Oh! And they are open 9am-9pm Monday-Saturday which is unheard of in small businesses like this.

How fun! It is so heartwarming to find places like this and actually shop in-store! It was so much fun putting things together with so much inventory to consider. So glad to hear there are still little thriving corners of scrapbooking in stores!

We go up to Voyageur’s National Park every year, but haven’t for the last 2 because of the kids’ work schedules. I might run up there at Christmas when we are back in MN again.
