I've always noticed there was a card swap every year but never paid much attention to it for some reason (ADHD, maybe? I figured it wasn't doable for me, I guess). Anyway, just reading this thread is really getting me in the Christmas mood! So nice! I may have to participate next year. The cost of postage is super high (Canada), but I think I can be like theshyone and mail a batch from the U.S. I'm only 30 minutes from the border so I can even drive over, it's a nice trip to make. What a great group on here.

I've been stressing myself out for the silliest reason this week - I have TOO MANY options for cards and I'm second-guessing which to send to whom, both for the Pea swap and for IRL friends and family. I always do this to myself! I have a photographic card I designed, digital options I bought, and several crafty options. I know they're all good, I love them all - so there's no wrong answer here! But I'm thinking I should send something crafty, especially if it's someone who knows I make cards, but then again maybe something more personal like the photo card would be better, and it's crafty too, in its own way, but will people be sad they didn't get a proper paper-crafted card...?? and round and round in my head! I was really hoping I wouldn't do this to myself this year!! I had to sit down with my journal and remind myself there's no wrong answer, any option is a great option, no one is going to feel shortchanged because no one knows what the other options were and anyway, the whole point of Christmas cards is that they're a surprise and a delight, no matter how they look. I deeply admire people who can come up with ONE idea for something and just do that.

Even if you only send cards to local people, or you just choose part of the list to mail to, it's so much fun to send out cards and then get surprises in the mail from all over.

Oh joblackford, I did the same thing for weeks!! I knew I wanted to use my Cameo so I had 4 different cards that I was practicing, changing, reworking, redesigning, making bigger, making smaller etc! Ugh! Finally, I decided on ONE and just stuck with it. It was my original one too! I am the SAME way and I finally realized that I just don't have tons of extra time to dilly dally around lol. 😂 I also knew for sure that I wanted the enjoy the whole process so I scrapped the other ideas and stuck with this one and I'm happy I did. I bought the main cut file on Etsy and along with a KB file and some design of my own I really like it and am enjoying the process.
