It's Friday night. What are you doing tonight?
It's 9:07 and I am already in bed, snuggled up. We are expecting our first freeze and snow this weekend so I plan on being home all weekend. Today I spent the whole day getting ready for a trip next week so it wasn't a particular long day but I had a bunch to do.
So how about you?

I went shopping - Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Aldis, and Publix - made dinner (tomato soup and goldfish) - watched an episode of Babylon 5 with DD12 and DH - now I'm getting ready to head to bed. Have to be up at 6am to take DD12 horse back riding...

Have to be up at 6am to take DD12 horse back riding... Not jealous of you having to get up early, but horseback riding sounds like fun! Its been forever since I've ridden, but I use to enjoy it! Waiting for company...my cousin is coming for a visit and I haven’t seen her in over 15 years. She just texted that they’re still an hour away so I poured myself a glass of wine and a bowl of popcorn. 😜

I am eating dinner. Then just going to putter about....household chores, straighten up purse, play with cat, reconcile finances, etc... I told myself that I will take sleep meds at 9:00pm and read in bed for awhile with the intention of being asleep by 11:00pm, but my mind doesn't always listen to my intended sleep plan, so hopefully it will be more vs less.  |

Have fun! oh I don't ride - my DDs both do though. DD18 rode every Sunday morning from 12-18 and once she left for college, DD 12 started riding every Saturday morning. Usually DH takes them - which means I just had to get up and makes sure they were awake - but we have an event afterwards in the other direction tomorrow so I have to tag along tomorrow morning since there won't be time to come home and pick me up (I don't drive either). The other event was originally scheduled for the afternoon but I got a 530 phone this afternoon letting me know that the afternoon session was undersubscribed and we had been switched to the morning session. It completely threw off my Saturday plans ... |

after a nice day with dh.. lunch with friends, drive along the golden gate bridge and the coast (sunny and 70).. made a nice dinner of salad and homemade salmon cakes. watching rachael, jeopardy. and then my washington week on pbs. then whatever.. tomorrow morning up early to drive to other side of bay and bring our sailboat from yard to dock. has an oil leak in engine the regular yard can't fix.. and it will take a month for an appt.at the proper shop. dh was supposed to leave for mexico in the boat monday. for the winter.. so now I need to rearrange my winter.
will be hot weekend.. so hope to clean basement some on sunday.. 70 degrees or better.

I completely understand this! Im taking my sleep pill at 930 and hopefully will be asleep by 10:30 or so. I told myself at the first sign on getting drowsy I will turn the computer off and put my sleep mask on. fingers crossed it works! |

Ohhh so sorry about the boat. Having to rearrange your plans stinks. We are headed to Malibu on Wednesday and I cannot wait to have 80 degree weather. We have our first snow this weekend and the thought of sunshine just makes me happy! |

I worked today, came home, popped some chicken pot pies in the microwave for a quick dinner, and then came downstairs to my scrap room and scrapped! Glad it's the weekend, work was busy this week and I really need some downtime. I have James Patterson's new book, Ambush, to read too! Yay for scrapping! I took a sleeping pill a few minuets ago but have decided that if it hasn't kicked in by 11:00 I will go to my scrapbook room and try and see if I can get a page done. I got some new family photos for fall done and I am excited to scrapbook them. |

Our oldest attends college about 90 minutes from our home. We took a ride over there to take her out to dinner and then went to her school's women's soccer match. Nice to live close enough for that sort of thing to be possible once in a while!

We are on vacation and just got back from the Great Pumpkin Blaze in Croton on Hudson, NY, which was crazy impressive. Normally I would have been in bed about 2 hours ago!

High school football game...went to see my daughter in the marching band. They're amazing!
Our school may have actually won the game, too, but I wasn't really paying attention to that. 😄

I just finished updating grades for the week. I took some Mucinex to hopefully tackle this cough and I'm headed to bed since I have musical rehearsal scheduled from 9-3 tomorrow.

Slowly unburing our house. from our flood/microburst storm back in July. We're fully done, with the remodel, just the clean up outside. The backyard is a hot mess but it will look better when they finish the cleanup and it's cooling off finally. I'm happy to have our house back. Now, we're watching or DH is watching Bridge Of Spies. I'm only half paying attention. I haven't been feeling so hot and took a nap early.Which I only do when I don't feel good. I hope it's just the weather changing. I like your idea! I'm also just catching up on the Royal Wedding stuff lol!

Been watching tv and crafting for the first time in a long time. It's 8:15 and I'm getting tired. I think I'm going to grab my kindle and get ready for bed and read until I get tired again as I am sure I will wake myself up getting ready for bed lol.
