I think I’ve wwtched every video on YouTube about it! I”d love one but it would be that or upgrading my iPad at Christmas and the iPad wins.

Oh gigi, is your mother's name Mary? I think we were separated at birth.
You're my Dior, Dyson sister.

I think it looks cool, but in reality I do fine with a regular blowdryer, a round brush and my flat iron. Anytime I try some new hair tool it just never works for me - call it user error perhaps.

I decided this would be my Christmas present to myself, and ordered one from Ulta last week. I had quite a bit of points saved up there, so was able to get over $120 off, plus earned another $80 off in points from the purchase (I buy everything beauty/body care there so I can take advantage of the points system).
It's absolutely worth it. I used it for the first time last night and it was SO easy to use. I just used the smoothing brush, and played a little bit with the curling attachments. It dried my hair in half the time it usually takes. Plus it comes in a really nice storage case, so it's easy to corral everything and stow away in my closet. Plus, it's super quiet so I feel like I can use it early in the morning without disturbing the entire house.
I got the version for frizz-prone hair, but I think it would have been smarter to get the complete set with all the attachments. I don't know if they'll make the components available separately, and I would like to have the round brush attachment too.

Interesting. I have very straight hair and DH loves the beach waves look. Maybe I should suggest this for Christmas instead of panic jewelry shopping.

I’ve been avoiding the videos because I don’t want to want it. It is so expensive!

Not interested. I bought the hair dryer when it came out because it was supposed to be soooo great. Nope. Nothing special at all. Just super overpriced and cool looking. I returned it and went back to my T3. I will forever be skeptical of Dyson hair products.

I’ve seen very little about the round brush. I normally style my naturally curly shoulder length hair with a hot air styler with a round brush attachment, so that’s the Dyson attachement I see me using most. I like my hair to be smoothed of the frizziness but still have a bit of curl and bounce. Anyone tried that attachement or seen a video of it being properly used?

Haven’t heard of it but that’s not surprising given I hardly use my hairdryer as it is. I prefer to just let my hair dry naturally.

I would love the hairdryer but the price for me is too much my cousin got it as it was recommended by her doctor. My cousin has severe arthritis, she was diagnosed at 26, for her it’s so worth the money because it dries hair quicker than other hairdryers and it’s lighter. She said for her it’s a life changer as she has quite long hair.

I want to try it. I would like to try the fine hair kit. Hopefully BB&B will carry it . It would be an easy return if I did not like it.

I didn’t not find the Dyson to be any faster at drying my hair than my T3 either.

So I got it, and it’s totally amazing
The hair dryer part is definitely a fair bit lighter than my own hairdryer
I tested it with dry hair so it’s better with wet damp hair, but even with dry hair it’s so impressive, I’m so happy I bought it

I tried it at a hotel last month and loved it! It has such a cool design, and works very well. I added it to my wish list, but $400 is a bit steep for a hairdryer for me. Hmmmm... I see it's $357 on Amazon right now - very tempting! I have to say one of the things that is stopping me from buying it is that I don't have any counter space in the bathroom to display it, and it is just too pretty to put away in a cabinet!

That does look cool. No way I could justify the price, though, particularly as my shorter hair rarely gets curled. I'd only use it for a straight blowout. I did just get this thing, though, and for only $57 it's amazing. Works exactly as promised on my mostly straight hair with weird random waves and my daughter's moderately curly hair. I put my regular blowdryer, round brush and straightener away because this takes the place of all three.

The had this on Hoda and Kathie Lee earlier this week. It wouldn't curl Hoda's hair, but they figured it was because she has Brazilian Blowout. It did Kathie Lee's a little. Another staff member came out on camera and she had nice curls. They did say one they they didn't like about it was that the air circles in one direction, so when you change from your right hand to left hand, it is awkward.
