I found coconut sweetened condensed milk the other day. My dd loves the normal stuff and coconut milk so we are going to make some form of treat with it. I’ve never seen the coconut one before.

Coconut is showing up in everything and as my allergy gets worse, this is becoming quite a problem.
I still think the caramel in a can is brilliant.

They’ve always sold ‘caramel in a can’ at Mexican markets but I get it was a fun science experiment for peas.

I attempted to make caramel in a can....I eagerly awaited the finished product (I seem to remember it taking a long time)...when I opened the can I was shocked....to find that I had boiled a can of mandarin oranges instead of sweetened condensed milk. I was so disappointed.

Ok, I picked up freshly picked apples when I was in eastern WA last week, and caramel for dipping sounds SOOO good right now. And I happen to have a can of sweetened condensed milk in the house for some cookies I was going to make. I've never made the caramel, if I just google, should those directions do the trick? And is it really THAT good, or should I just wait and pick up real caramel later this week? Dang you girls and your power of suggestion ETA: I just found directions, sounds simple enough. It says to cook for 3 hours and fully cool before opening. It's 8pm here, far too late...so no pure calories in a can for me tonight

I had to toss all kinds of hair and skin products. Now I check everything, and boy howdy do some products use a tiny font.
