My SIL loves a cabbage casserole that his aunt makes. His aunt finally shared it via FB. But the recipe she shared says to bake it in the oven. SIL says she makes it in the crockpot. Does anyone have a yummy unstuffed cabbage casserole dish that is made in the crockpot?

I don’t really have a recipe, just guess at amounts usually but I can give you approximate amounts.
1 lb hamburger
1 sm onion chopped and cooked with hamburger.
Then I add to crock pot and add
salt and garlic to taste
2-3 cans of Italian style tomatoes
1/2-3/4 head of cabbage shredded
1-1/2 cups of rice
Crushed red pepper flakes if you like a little spice

Head of cabbage
Kielbasa or smoked sausage
Can of diced tomatoes (Rotel if you want a kick)
Onion
Can of chicken broth
Few pads of butter
Salt and pepper.
Cook in crock pot until cabbage is done. I honestly don’t time it I just keep it on all day and then eat it.
