This is a lesson for your daughter to learn how to communicate. Because if months from now your friend asks why she hasn't seen your daughter and you tell her then, she won't remember specifics of what was asked. But if your daughter communicated at the end of her appointment, this is not what I asked for and I'm not paying, then the stylist would have immediately realized her mistake. Months later she can convince herself not to take any blame.
I really like my stylist, but I always tell her when I don't like the color.
I've seen so many bad extensions, I wouldn't assume it will be a perfect match. She may be best going with an upstyle. Because a lot of back of head pictures are taken at a wedding.

I'm so happy to read the update. She must feel quite relieved. I hope her wedding is beautiful and can't wait to see photos.
My oldest son is getting married next month. His fiance has elected to do her own hair and makeup. She wants to "look like herself" she said and not someone else's vision of who she is.

I have had experience with extensions that were braided in....HORRIBLE. NEVER EVER do this!!!!!
I actually have clip in extensions. I use them when we have big events to go to like weddings here. Google Moroccan weddings and you will see what I mean. I can do them myself but my stylist makes everything look completely natural. We worked together to get the color right.
Sounds like you have great advice already.
I hope everything turns out beautifully for your daughter's wedding. Good luck!

A few hundred is not bad at all and is worth it to make your DD have the wedding of her dreams. My GF got the micro link extensions and they were over $1K!

Go buy a fall. It is easier to deal with. Extensions are easy but very time consuming. I would use the glue instead of the tape. I Bought the pieces that were like a strip of hair and cut those apart. DD gets the bead ones put in and it takes 30 mins, she said the tapeones aren't much worse. Takes longer to colour your hair. They last 2ish months and they can be moved up in 10 minutes. Loosen the bead move to scalp squeeze the bead, move to next. OP fingers crossed it all works out.

My daughter has fine thin hair and was in a dance piece where all the other girls had long thick hair. Those taped extensions lasted through judging. And she could pull it up in a nice bun! I matched her hair color so good that the “famous” town stylist didn’t realize she had them in. Of course he was stuck and high at the time!! That probably had a lot to do with it! 😂
