During the winter months we use frozen.
There is a difference, but we like them both, so it's okay.
For example, I taste a difference between fresh green beans and *purchased* frozen ones (If I freeze fresh green beans then I do not taste the difference.) but I am perfectly happy to eat the purchased frozen green beans.
Now, canned green beans? I hate those. Truly hate them.

The only frozen veg I use with any regularity is edamame (not really a veg).
I use the gas absorbing gadgets in the vegetable bin and find they REALLY extend the life of fresh fruit and veg. I got mine at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

I use frozen peas and corn but everything else fresh. I don't like the taste or texture of most frozen vegetables.

I use both. I prefer fresh but that is not always convenient or maybe I don't have fresh on hand for something I want to make. I keep a nice stash of frozen so I can grab what I need when I don't have fresh. I almost always use frozen peas and corn but other veggies, I use fresh as much as I can.

We eat both here. It is not always affordable to eat fresh and sometimes things aren't in season.

I use both, all the time. Frozen ones like peas, carrots, corn, spinach, brussel spouts are easy and convenient.
Fresh for fruits, lettuce, onions, etc.

I use lots of frozen veggies, even though I use fresh, too, but I don't want to go to the store every few days for fresh (ykwim). I grew up on canned veggies.

I use both. Sometimes I'm too lazy to cut up all of the ingredients for a stir fry so I buy one of the bags with the mixed stir fry veggies already prepped.

Both, mostly fresh. But frozen are great for stews, casseroles, pasta dishes, those type things where you can just throw some in. Also smoothies! There is def a little difference in texture, but I find taste is usually fine bcz they are picked for ripeness. I would actually prefer frozen over canned! I also find ways to freeze my fresh produce to make it last longer, sometimes it requires blanching a bit, but i'll just throw it in a quart freezer bag and have it for another recipe.

I grew up hating veggies because my mom always served canned or frozen, and I thought they tasted metallic or were mushy. I love fresh veggies, so that's mostly what I buy, but I don't mind frozen corn, peas, and edamame. Anything else frozen cooks up too mushy for me.

I use both. I prefer fresh, but I'm also picky about where my produce comes from, so we pick/buy in bulk locally grown vegetables in the summer and freeze a lot of them for use in the winter. There are some vegetables that I absolutely won't eat frozen though (asparagus - LOVE it fresh, but disgusting frozen).
I'm much rather eat frozen vegetables that were grown locally by farmers I trust over fresh vegetables that were grown thousands of miles away and shipped.

I really admire people who cook fresh veggies. And if I were growing my own that's what I'd do. But for convenience sake I use frozen. I don't have to worry they are going bad in the crisper, there's no prep needed, and it's so fast to get them ready to eat.

I always have frozen broccoli, peas, edaname and corn on hand. This helps me round out a meal when I haven't been to the market.
But I have a CSA delivered every other week so we eat mostly fresh.

I use more frozen. I don't like to shop as often as I would need to if I were to use only fresh.

Only frozen peas and corn. Apart from that, if it's not in season, we don't eat it. I like changing up our veggies with the seasons. Right now I can buy brussel sprouts on the stalks - which I LOVE :-)

Depends on the application. Sometimes we'll have frozen mixed veggies as a standalone, but not often. I much prefer the consistency and texture of fresh. But for certain dishes frozen vegetables are preferred, like the corn I use in my Mexican spaghetti. But I will never, say, use frozen green beans to sautee and serve as a side dish.

I use both. I prefer fresh, but keep a stash of frozen vegetables in the freezer to use in soups, sauces, or meals that need to be prepared in a hurry.

I adore frozen peas and carrot mix. I use it in a lot of my cooking. I also buy the big bags of stir fry mix for quick meals. I let the veggies defrost first before using. Sometimes I throw it in the oven to dry them out. I do the same for corn. I use canned green beans ( I am not a fan of fresh green beans) and canned corn too. I use canned too. I am not a fan of fresh green beans either! I used canned corn and more times then not canned beets.
I think frozen veggies have a funny taste.

I use both. Some frozen veggies are just fine. No texture problems. However I just cannot do the frozen cauliflower or the spinach. Fortunately I live in the "salad bowl" of Calif where we have lots of veggies available fresh year round. I have found that I do not like those small baby carrots when they are cooked. Raw they are fine but cooked they don't taste right to me. It's a texture thing I think.
When corn is plentifull and cheap I do a lot of freezing. Blanched and off the cob. Into freezer bags in single servings. Same with fresh carrots and green beans.

I buy fresh from the farmer's market when it's in season, but use a lot of frozen in the winter.

I use frozen all the time. I won't buy anything but US or Canadian grown produce (unless it's something that isn't grown in the US or Canada) so if I want that, I have to buy frozen sometimes.
I don't buy canned veggies other than tomatoes.
Also, strangely enough, all of the farmer's markets around here closed so if I want something super fresh I have to drive at least an hour. You'd think with all the farming around here there would be something.

I don't think I've ever used frozen cauliflower. That is one veggie that I can almost always find fresh here (grown in the US).

A combination of both. I also use canned vegetables like Pinto beans, kidney beans, salad greens, and black eyed peas. I like those better than frozen.

Frozen peas and sometimes frozen corn. Fresh for everything else. I can't believe some folks say they can't tell the difference between fresh and frozen. To me the difference is very obvious and I don't care for the texture of frozen veggies.

I can tell. I much prefer fresh broccoli but I keep frozen on hand because it lasts longer and is quick to cook. I buy fresh during the summer but I live 30 minutes from town so I don't get too much in a single trip. I also prefer fresh asparagus but it's almost never available around here (from the US). Maybe for a month or two out of the year. So sometimes I will get frozen in that. I hate taking the corn kernels off a cob so we don't use fresh much in that-only when dh gets some from friends that grow it (a lot of corn farmers will plant sweet corn in their end rows). I use frozen green beans in stew but otherwise prefer fresh. I buy carrots every so often but none of us really like them (other than dh) so they go bad before I can use the whole thing. So I buy them frozen to put in soups and stews.
If I had a better source for fresh that wasn't a half hour drive away I would probably use more. We have a garden but it looks horrible. DH takes forever to get it ready (because of planting season) so it doesn't do well.

I use both. I usually have a good supply of frozen veggies, some of which I freeze myself, like fresh corn off the cob and fresh beets, and use other fresh when available. I also use some canned veggies, specifically lima and green beans. I cannot abide frozen green beans, nasty tasting things! I love fresh green beans but they're not always available and I really prefer canned limas. For the most part, I was raised on canned veggies so it's no big deal to me.
