I've been working on some vacation photos using Amy Tangerine's Oh Happy Life collection that I had purchased specifically for this set of photos. I've ended up buying more wherever I can find it because I've also used it for spring break and a couple other sets of photos. I ended up thinking to myself that it's in my top 5 all time favorite collections. Which made me wonder what my others are, and here's the list I came up with, in no particular order: Amy Tangerine Oh Happy Life - I love the bright white and clear images without being juvenile or over the top themey. I LOVE that there are so many multi colored papers in the collection! Shimelle Starshine - again, the bright clean white, and the selection of multicolored papers. The embellishments are definitely harder for me to use since they are very space themed and the phrases she uses are hard for me to find a use for, but OH those colors, the coral, and navy, and the floral is gorgeous. Glitz Design Uncharted Waters - a bit grungy but not over the top, again with my precious navy, and coral, yellow and touch of aqua..not over the top nautical themed but just enough. It was so easy for me to mix and match with a couple other collections out at that time and made my Cruise album probably my favorite album I've made so far. My Mind's Eye Collectible (?)- it's an older collection, and not themed at all if I recall, but just a great set of blues and yellow and neutrals together that I mixed with several other collections. It had a blue/yellow collection and a pink/orange collection. Basic Grey Spice Market - Oh how I miss Basic Grey....This one....it had navy and coral and aqua ( holy crap I just noticed the trend in my favorites!!! Amy Tan is the only one without Navy blue!) and I love the Moroccan designs, they could be used with any subject and not be out of place. I have SO MUCH of this.....I bought a ton of it to use for a Cozumel vacation before we even left for the trip! I just instantly fell in love with it and wanted to do my entire album with this line. I've stolen bits and pieces for other projects but haven't broken out the entire project yet. Bonus collection - Crate Paper Craft Market - tons of useable stickers and embellishments that weren't themed, cleaner than other collections they had out at the time. My first jump into glittery accents, LOL! So what are your top all time collections, why did you love them, and what did you use them on?

Echo Park - Summer Days Pebbles - Sunny Side For these two, it was the fun vibrant colors. Summer Days I bought twice. When my order with Sunny Side arrived, I pulled it out and made a layout right away bc I loved it so much.
Amy Tan - Plus One: I liked the color way a lot. Lots of black and white with some pops of color and easy to use patterns.
Basic Grey - B Side: For some reason, I found this to be an easy and fun collection to work with. Pages came together easily for me which is somewhat unusual.
Fancy Pants - Park Bench: It was pretty and FP papers have a nice texture. I used it for Shimelle's collection class - chopped it up and made various starting point pages. By accident, chose pictures that were within a short time frame so there are a lottttt of FP Park Bench pages in a row. oops!

Basic Grey - Highline (my favourite ever and I recently found it available in the UK and stocked right up on it!) Crate Paper - Notes & Things (waiting for Notes & Things Two-Point-Oh) Crate Paper - Good Vibes (love the colours on this one and I found it very easy to use) Doodlebug - Hello (I didn't love this one but I seem to be able to make LOs with it super fast so it became a favourite!) Basic Grey - B Side (I don't have enough of this one left but I love it and would scoop it all up if I found it available!)

Ok, so my confession is - I never used to think in collections. I'd buy several sheets from a collection and then put them into my stash according to colour, so very often they would get split up. It is only recently that I've realised if I buy several items from a collection they are easier to use together so I should store them together. It's the slowest lightbulb moment ever.
So, it's hard for me to answer this question because many of those old collections are now just single pieces of paper in my stash! But, I did love Crate Paper Notes & Things, Shimelle's True Stories, some of the early Studio Calico like Darling Dear (or something like that, not entirely sure of the name).

I don't usually buy collections: stereotypically I buy by the sheet. But there was one must-have collection that was my all-time favorite. About a dozen years ago, KI Memories made a Christmas collection that was cherry red, kelly green, lime green and raspberry pink. I bought IT ALL. The petite pop was the best and I used it all up quickly and I'm not a Christmas person: those patterns worked for everything, not just the holidays. I was so inspired by the paper that it was the year we made cookies for Santa that were sugar cookies with lime and bright pink sanding sugar.
I really miss Basic Grey: Kelly Goree made the most amazing layouts with their papers. I loved the weight of the papers, the geometric designs, the alphas and brads and BG's color combinations.

One of my favorites was Basic Grey Tuxedo. I was able to use those papers often and on different things. My favorites were a framed layout of Travis Tritt for my sister and a scrapbook for my parents friends.

OA Night Light. I love the blue, actually all the colors, but that blue is my favorite, especially coupled with the burnt orange, lime green and red red, I used it for lots of pictures of little boys in my life. OA Rocket Age,again the blue is just so perfect. I used it for lots of Disney pages. OA Christmas lines - Ilove them all and they mix so well I am going to lump them together. I love the colors, the whimsicalness of the lines. They work perfectly for my Christmas pages. Cp Little one- I think it was CP anyway, but I love that line. The colors are so sweet and I love the clouds and animals on them. It was the perfect baby line. I will need to think about which one is my final line, will edit later.

Crate Paper Toy Box Crate Paper Portrait Basic Grey June Bug Crate Paper On Trend Basic Grey- the boy/girl collections they had with the monkeys/grey
Or maybe Basic Grey Wander. It's hard to choose.
I miss the style Crate used to have 6-7 years ago. I don't have anything left of any of these except a few small bits of On Trend and Wander.

Favorite to actually use, or favorite to look at?
Most used:
Basic Grey had a line called Fact or Fiction that was only sold at J's (I think) in a paper pad. I think I have Fiction. The colors are just right for my mom's late 60s/early 70s color photos. I wish I had more (I think I found it at Tuesday Morning.)
Echo Park Summertime. I have pretty much used the entire collection, and 12 by 12 sticker sheet. It took about eight years but I love the colors.
October Afternoon, Rocket Age. I didn't get the entire collection but should have... it was great for documenting my family's obsession with Star Trek and Star Wars.
Little Yellow Bicycle Fern and Forest the boy line. The papers were green, brown and orange and turquoise. It was really easy to make boy pages, and outdoors pages with this the colors were just right.
OA Public Library. We're a house full of readers... there are never enough book themed scrapbook supplies...

It may be worth a try at your local store if you want more.

I decided to choose some old collections that I loved working with so much and still love what I made and looking at them even though styles change.
Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm: I created some of my favorite things with this line.
Studio Calico - Atlantic: one of my most favorite - papers are gorgeous!
Studio Calico - Hey Day: made the sweetest mini album with this line that I still love!
Amy Tangerine - Stitches: so loved the colors, papers and embellishments from this kit.
Teresa Collins - Giving Thanks: made a pretty mini album and layouts with this line.
Teresa Collins - Christmas Home Collections - made an album I love with this collection.
I don’t buy Teresa Collins, Dear Lizzy, SC collections, or rarely Amy tangerine anymore either - but years ago.... I loved their stuff. 😊

The papers and patterns are so easy to use and all the AC collections work together, even the newer ones, I find. I wish I'd picked up some embellishments too, although they mix and match really well. That's my other confession...I never used to buy the embellishments and thought I could make do with paper. It's so much easier to scrap when you can create dimension and clusters. Another slow-burn lightbulb moment!

Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer inspired me to get back into scrapping after a long dry spell. I also fell in love with Simple Stories Summer Fresh. That red gingham is just so cute. Dear Lizzy Neopolitan was a love at first site collection. I made one of my favorite mini albums with it. Crate Paper Pretty Party and The Pier are also favorites. I love a beach layout with The Pier.

I love this question! Mine have changed with some of the collections this year. My favorite color is a purple so there is a color preference on these for the most part 🤷♀️ These are those that I bought the entire collection:
Paige Evans - Take Me Away Pink Fresh - Indigo Hills 2 Pink Fresh - Simple and Sweet ( I loved Let Your Heart Decide, too.) Crate Paper - Hello Love Crate Paper - Auburn Lane
I would add Cocoa Vanilla Midnight and More Than Words if I could ever get my hands on those products. I adore that company!

Pink Paislee Daily Junque...it seriously stopped me in my tracks. I first saw the collection at an Archiver’s, they had a sample mini album on display by folding the paper longways, as a 6x12. It inspired me to make several albums in that way using different lines, for different events. I still have some of the paper, I thoroughly enjoy looking at it.

Such a good question. There are so many lines that I have bought over the years that I love but sometimes there is just that something a bit extra special about some. When I first started I loved a big bold colourful A side pattern but as the years have rolled along I seem to gravitate towards a more versatile B side pattern and a cute novelty print but still as always bright and colourful. The Roxie line from Elsie will likely always be my all time number one favourite, I was young and single and it worked perfectly with my style and spoke to me like no line had before.
Ki Memories Wild Things Valentine Love Elsie Roxie Echo Park A walk in the park Kaisercraft Happy Snaps Doodlebug Designs Cream and Sugar.
