I know many Refupeas had been interested in ordering the 24 Days of Teas from David's Tea so I thought I would let anyone that is interested know that it went up for sale today.

I think it sells out fast, right? I’m always tempted and then talk myself out of purchasing one just for me. Anyone care to push me over the ledge to the dark side?

I don't want to purchase the 24 Days of Tea just a couple of the flavors like Candy Cane Crush. Maybe some are only seasonal and not available all year round?

Wow! It went up early this year! I ordered once a couple of years ago and my co-worker and I shared each day of tea since it makes two cups. We had such fun! Unfortunately, we don't work together anymore and I just don't drink tea like I used to since my job changed. I don't wanna buy it and not use it but it IS wonderful!

Also, has anyone tried their Peanut Butter Cup tea? That looks yummy (possibly). I hadn't seen it before but I think I may just have to buy some of that and give it a try!

Is the difference between the $49 set and the $32 set that you get two cups worth with the more expensive one (and the “ornament” boxes and spoon) and one cup worth (and less fancy extras) with the cheaper one?
Hmmm. They’re also completly different tea offerings. Why? I’m not a tea drinker; this would be a gift for somebody who drinks all kinds of teas. And my inclination is to pay less, not more. Any feedback/advice?

I just ordered! And got myself that cute reindeer tea press, too. Because I deserve it.

I’m pretty sure they call thier tea bags sachets but I haven’t bought Tea bags from them to be sure

I bought them for gifts last year. We loved the tea ... but it is a process making it. I know that my sister still has those little canisters sitting around as to I. Neither of us got all the way through the "month" of tea! And, as tasty as the tea that we actually made was, it was very pricey. I did it once - that will be enough ... especially since I still have plenty left from last year!

Thanks, guys. I got the $32 set with the “sachets” for my SIL. She loves tea and she loves variety in all things, so this is perfect.
Of course, they wanted to charge me $10 shipping, so I had to buy more...
(The $49 set is priced to just miss free shipping. If you need something cheap to add, there’s a tote bag for $5 that I’m hoping can also serve as the gift bag...and then a market bag.)

Have you tried Candy Cane Lane by Celestial Seasonings? I'm not a hot tea drinker normally, but I LOVE that one. Peanut butter cup tea sounds interesting. I would try it if I could get a single serving somewhere, but I think I'd prefer it in hot chocolate or coffee.

I made my own last year and it was a big hit. If found some little pillow boxes and made up an Advent calendar for each kid, with a reading for the day and a treat and labeling it 1, 2, 3, ... Some days it was tea, some it was a bit of candy. Our Wegman's has a loose tea section and I bought 12 varieties of tea from there. I put a Target gift card in each, but for the day they were done with finals (college students). That way they had it when they did their Christmas shopping. And I did it all for about $10 each, plus the GC. Pillow boxes

Dumb tea buying question… I really liked the Let It Snow seasonal tea last year, and I wanted to buy some to enjoy this year. When I went to purchase it, I see it comes in 2 oz increments. I've never bought loose tea before, about how many servings would 2 oz be? I know it varies depending on how strong you like your tea, But I'm not sure how many ounces to buy! (Lest anyone tell me to just Google it, I did check the FAQ and this question was not answered there!)

Ugh. The new website is not cooperating and I’ve requested to reset my password twice with no email. I’ll try again when I get to my laptop and can navigate a little easier. I’m going to be frustrated if it sells out quickly. disneypal Thanks for the reminder to order. I thought I set a reminder in my calendar but must not have. I’ve really enjoyed doing the tea advent the past few years! Last year was a bit of a miss because there was a large percentage that contained tree nuts so I didn’t get to try them. Going on names of flavors only, I’m more hopeful this year I just love amping up to the holiday season!

There are a ton of other tea companies that also have tea advent calendars, if you're interested in other brands. Here is a link with some ideas, check the first post after the OP for a ton of listings! Tea Advent Calendar Discussion

I did this last year and brought my tea to work so I could get through it everyday. However there were so many teas that I didn't like that I think this year I'm just going to be the equivalent value in flavors that look good.
