Okay, I hope you all like this challenge as much as I did. This one is called tag, because... you probably guessed it, we're making tags! We all struggle coming up with ideas sometimes, right? Tags are small and sometimes it just seems easier to manage that smaller space. So I challenge you to make a tag, any tag, and make it into a card. The fun thing about tags is you can use them in different ways such as making them your focal point, putting them in a pocket, or making them some other type of interactive element. You can just simply place it on a card base. Easy peasy! For my sample this week I tried to include my previous challenges all in one. I used a cloud patterned vellum for the background of my tag, used aqua and navy, and added texture with the jute twine(not the messy texture of a paste, but texture nontheless!). CARDtober # 24 - tag by saralovestocreate, on Flickr I hope everyone is still enjoying CARDtober. I'm a bit sad this is my last challenge post of the month, but I'm hoping to join in on some more of the challenges soon as some things have settled down for me. Happy crafting!

lovestocreate I love tags, don't know why I don't do more of them. I absolutely adore your card and tag, and your inclusion of your previous challenges, great idea. Guess who's going to be pinching your idea?

That's a lovely tag and I too love that you've used past challenges here too! It's amazing how the faux stitched/pierced details make a simple card look so awesome. I used a tag that I had made for Christmas in July and found a coordinating patterned paper from my late MIL's stash, plus a piece of cardstock that didn't quite match any of the reds, which are all different anyway. Using up leftovers for the win! I loved the Shimelle die cuts but didn't love the color tones, and the Pink Paislee (?) clear tag was fun but I didn't know how to attach it to my Xmas journal. The CTMH glitter stars were a bit much and I had tons left over after making cards with their kit last year. Slapping everything together made everything work Yay! That is a super cute tag and card, joblackford! Here is mine: I used the BoBunny Enchanted Forest papers again (6x6 paper pad) for this card. I love that collection.
