I'd also add holiday recipes/Christmas Eve and Day menus, favorite carols/songs, any Christmas concerts/pageants/nativities/candlelight services you may attend, and any religious significance the holidays have for you. 😀

Great thread idea! I have some overlap with your list but here are some other things I'm documenting this year: - Helping my mother pick out and pick up her Christmas tree (no tree in my place)
- Going to the ballet and opera
- Going to the movies to see The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
- Nespresso's limited editions for the holidays (and a story about our home-made lattes when the weather turns really cold)
- Visiting a local Christmas market
- Christmas 2018 trends and aesthetic in the stores
- Watching ALL my favourite silly Christmas Hallmark movies + the new 2018 ones that will have made the cut in our household
- Master list of all special expenses for December/Christmas this year (don't do this if you don't want to know! )
- Christmas parcel for a loved one living abroad and not travelling back for Christmas (content + dropping it off at the post office)
- Feeling cozy (photos of us all snuggled up + all the Christmas lights at home)
- Experiencing the madness at my SO's family
- Reflecting on 2018 (list of all the major events, personal and world stage, that happened this year and had an impact on me)
- New Year's Eve partying
- Celebrating Epiphany with the family (and, of course, the traditional brioche cake!)
- The buzz (and décor) in the city
- Watching the Christmas parade at Disneyland Paris
- Paris all decked out for Christmas
- Picking up one of the seasonal drinks at Starbucks

Love this! Going ice skating Work Christmas party with dirty Santa game Celebrating December birthdays Christmas pajamas Story of a favorite ornament Weirdly both hospitals I’ve worked at give employees a frozen turkey for a holiday present, which is a story I always intend to tell and run out of room! Christmas parade/5k run Christmas displays in store windows (like how Stitch in Time usually does the Tiffany’s display)

Thanks everyone. I'm short on ideas at the moment. Some of my documenting will definitely relate to the garden and all the work I'm doing there. Oh and documenting my 12 days of Christmas ornaments for the first time. I bought a cute tree to display them on.

I get so many pictures from friends as Christmas that I've started making pages for the pictures I receive. The documentation is simply who's who - although on the back of the page I include where I know the person from. It's fun to look through the years and see their kids grow up before your eyes.
