Eh up ducks! I'm all monochromatic and simple once again, pinching this design idea from Pinterest. Fortunately I have been unable to play with proper cardstock this week so you are spared my exceptionally good papercrafting skills and prowess at tying bows All I have is my digital version to share. Your challenge today, should you choose to accept it, is to use the sketch in any way you like. This post will self-destruct.... Sketches and TemplatesFor those who find sketches useful, I am providing a zip file of downloads too. There are two sizes: - 2Peas-Cardtober20A - A4 size where the card is halved to make a C6 size base of 4.13 x 5.845-inches
- 2Peas-Cardtober20B - letter size where the card is halved to make an A6 size base of 4.25 x 5.5-inches
In the zip file you will find: - 2Peas-Cardtober27A.psd - Photoshop template size 4.13 x 5.845-inches
- 2Peas-Cardtober27B - Photoshop template size 4.25 x 5.5-inches
- 2Peas-Cardtober27 - SVG for both card sizes suitable for Silhouette Studio
- 2Peas-Cardtober27A and B - a JPG image of the sketch in both sizes
You can find the download here: 2Peas-Cardtober27.zip Supplies: "I am, and will always be, a card-maker." ( With apologies to Spock and Star Trek for pinching the line.) Until we make cards together again, may your scissors be sharp, your glue always sticky and may Nuvo Drops always be welcome at your table

Love the simple classic design. My square punches are waiting for me on the counter at home. Thinking I may give them one more job before putting them away. The button for the “0” is a nice touch. Love how you switched it from a letter to a number. Thanks, JaneB, fo all the inspiration this month. Love 💕 your sign off!

Ooh, that's a really cool idea for a New Year's card! I shall have to have a dig around and see if I can do my own version. Or maybe I will just go off on my own path with the sketch... as I am wont to do.

I love your design JaneB. I didn't have a button large enough so I punched a paper one and added glossy accents. Thanks for the sketch!

Great card, JaneB! I really appreciate all your efforts for the challenges, too. nylene, your card is very cute, and I think the button looks good. I also like your use of Nuvo drops. At least that is what I assume you used. I did two cards for this one, mainly because I did not read the challenge carefully enough and focused mostly on the sketch for the first one. Or you could just say that I took major liberties. Then I read the challenge info again, and decided to try something closer to the actual challenge.

scrapnnana, both of your cards are wonderful. It's fine if you take liberties with the sketch. I know JaneB doesn't mind at all. Glad to see you posting.
