Or if you are not home, what do you think they are doing? Meeka, our shih tzu is currently next to me on the couch, lying on her side, snoozing away. She hasn't gone outside to potty yet this morning as it's been raining pretty hard and she refused earlier. I know she's going to wake up soon and want to go out but fight me on it as the ground is wet. The puppy princess does not like her paws touching the wet, dirty ground!

We got about 4-5 inches of snow last night and I can't get the corgis inside. They love the snow and it is up to their chests.

Mine is at the animal shelter waiting for two weeks from now to get spayed so we can finally bring her home....
But right now she is fighting with her siblings and running crazy is my guess.

Toby our male shih tzu is snuggled up in his bed taking a post breakfast nap.
Sadie our female shih tzu is staring out the big front window, scruffing at every little noise. Her usual post breakfast thing to do lol

Mischief and Mayhem are probably sinking into the couch right now. In a few hours, they will get up, have a snack, and retire to the bed upstairs. When I get home, they casually walk down the stairs, yawning and stretching, and yell at me to give them their evening pouch. They've had a hard day, you know!

Toby on the other hand will frollic in the wet grass and leaves. He LOVES to go through sprinklers too. Complete opposites those 2 are

Asleep on the couch. Ollie is probably on his back, balls to the ceiling and snoring. Grady is undoubtedly curled up on his throne of pillows. Lucky little bastards.

Just checked the camera and my dog is laying in his chair napping. The cat is most definitely asleep somewhere as far away from the dog as possible.

If I had to take a guess, Fritz is most likely holding the couch down.
He might meander into our room and jump on the bed when he's ready for a change of scenery for his snoozing.
I am so jealous of his life.

Being a pain in the ass.... Sounds about right, damn labs In the last 5 minutes Remi got out of his crate (i had been downstairs working and I don't trust him to be alone more than 30 seconds), went outside, sniffed around for 30 seconds then came back in. Walked to the kitchen then asked to be let out again Went out and pottied, found a pinecone and went apeshit crazy for a few minutes, came in for a drink (the floor probably got more water than he actually swallowed) and is now laying at my feet on a (very very hairy) towel he'd drug out of his crate and chewing on a toy. That'll last about another 30 seconds I'm guessing.

I'm 90% sure she's lying at the top of the stairs, pretending to be disinterested in all things human. Until she wants to be petted or fed. Or until a human walks in from the garage. Then it's game on.

Probably lying on the couch where he's not supposed to be snoring as the big punk wanted to go outside AGAIN at 3:45 this morning, and then again at 6:30. We have a love hate relationship with the cold in our house. he loves it, I hate it.

If I had to guess, both of my lazy felines are snoozing on my bed. One is on the afghan and one is on a pillow.
Lucky little shits.

I’m home. Only one of them is with me, at this time. My Pom is glued to my hip. His presence sent Cat #1 sulking out of the room. She is likely laying in the dog bed in the corner of the dining room.
The Lab-mix is probably on her loveseat in the family room. While Cat #2 is in her favorite spot, the back of the loveseat in the office/library.

our 4 dogs are enjoying the usual day in with Dad.
We've got Santa Ana winds that kicked up so they'll hang out inside, chase lizards in the back yard during potty breaks and enjoy a very spoiled life.
Kona the wonder pitty will hopefully get a long walk in this morning and then tonight they'll be in time out in the master bedroom when trick or treaters invade!

I only had a half-day today at school, so when I got home at noon my dog leaped around as always, as if I'd been gone a month. Then I got my lunch and gave her a cookie. Now she's curled in her bed snoring. I keep the house pretty cold when no one is home so she likes to curl up in her cozy bed. (in the summer she'll often lay sprawled out in the hallway on the hard wood floor). I haven't turned the heat on because I'm getting ready to run out to Target.

Waiting on tenderhooks for me to make my way to the kitchen to make his tea. Once fed, he will find a spot on the sofa to snooze.

I just left for work a few hours ago, so they're probably all sleeping right now.
But: At some time during the day, the cats will instigate something with the dogs (by walking past them, lol) and Bisbee and Prescott will chase them from the living room, through the entryway across the tile, and into the kitchen. My reasoning for this thinking is that every day when I get home, the long rug/runner that goes across the front entryway is all rumpled up and is never where it should be.
Also, at some point in the day at least one of the cats will walk across the counter and/or kitchen table, because I see their little footprints.
We've talked a couple times about getting a camera, just to see what they do while we're gone. it would probably be really funny.

One beagle and the mini doxie are on the couch with me, sound asleep. The other beagle is in “her” chair, sleeping with one eye open just in case I get up.
I will be leaving in a couple of hours to go pick up my grandson from school. I know when I check the camera that points in the family room, they will all be on the back of the over stuffed chair and / or the dog cage looking out the window. They don’t seem to ever sleep when we are gone. Too busy guarding the backyard. They like to keep an eye on the birds and squirrels that come in the yard when they are not outside.

It’s been raining here all morning and they’re all sleeping. We got a shelter kitten last week and she has been so much fun. The other 3 cats growl and hiss when she gets too close and she just ignores them. The dog likes her though. Her name was Cardi C and she’s sassy. I named her Luna.
