Here is something to put under the tree: whiskyadvocate.com/game-thrones-scotch/Most of them aren’t out yet, but will be before Christmas. The are all moderately priced, so will make good gifts. My dh just bought a bottle of Johnny Walker White Walker last week. The bottle is amazing and changes color in the freezer. He likes the scotch too.  |

Those are awesome. Wish they were tequila. My GOT loving BFF doesn't drink Scotch. The White Walker one is my fave!

This is super cool. I just called my favourite liquor store to see if they had it. He says there is a whole a Game of Thrones series coming out, about eight or nine different distilleries are participating. Johnnie Walker is the first one to come out. Fun. I just went to a whisky tasting event. It was very tasty and I learned a little something about how they age and flavor it.
ETA: Johnnie Walker White Walker cracks me up: "meant to be served straight from the freezer."

This is great for DH as he enjoys GOT and loves whiskey. My son isn't turning 21 until April but maybe I'll get one when they come out and hold onto it. DS is a major fan. Thanks for sharing. I love the art work and overall aesthetics.

We are bourbon fans, not scotch drinkers. But these are so cool I may have to gift a few anyway. The Johnnie Walker "White Walker" would be fun just for the novelty of it.

dang, I wish my DH liked whiskey as well as bourbon. I might have to buy the White Walker bottle and start drinking whiskey sours, or something, just so I can have it! (sadly, he also doesn't 'get' GoT either, so the coolness of the entire thing would be lost on him, as well. And I agree, it IS weird that he wouldn't love the show as much as I do! lol!)

This is awesome! We are GOT and Scotch fans. However, I didn't realize ALL of these distilleries were owned by Diageo. It kind of makes me sad.

TFS. Going to look for the White Walker one this week. I know nothing about the alcohol or the show, but my husband loves the show and the bottle sounds cool.
Lagavulin reminds me of Parks and Rec.
