Cause this $1300 sweater just screams Black Sabbath! I hate to keep clicking on this stuff because now I'll have to see their products everywhere when I'm online but I can't help myself!

It looks like they booked the steerage cruise on the boat my grandma came over on in the late 1800s......rainwater collection, food on the hoof, every piece of clothing on their bodies so no one steals it, the gas can might be whale oil to cook the food on the hoof in, that ad is hilarious.....

The voyage of the damned is one I would like to avoid. HAHAHA!!! you win the internet for today with this one. ETA: and what probable Gucci clothing buyer would even KNOW who Black Sabbath is? (and are there any Black Sabbath members around, and did they truly 'sell out' to make $$ off of that god-awful sweater?!?) so many questions...

I actually really like the ad - it’s Gucci. I don’t expect a vineyard vines type ad campaign.
It’s totally not me - but I love to look.
This thread was expensive for me to open. Since I was on the site - I did a little shopping! I I always have stuff in my shopping bag at Nordstrom.

I think the "Black Sabbath" sweater is supposed to be metal band logos, just kind of jumbled up so it's not the actual spelled out logo of the bands' names.
If so, it was inspired by (or ripped off from) a Stephen Sprouse mini collection from 1988 that did the same thing with punk band logos.

They finally took that ad off their homepage, but it was up there for at least a week! I thought it was the worst ad ever and did not make me want to click in to see the clothes.
