I hope this wasn't posted recently, I can't figure out how to "search" for a thread.
I don't like anything about fall except for nail polish! I love the dark browns and greys on nails. I am going through all my fall polish and trying to decide what to wear next.
I keep my toes polished all year as I wear slippers and my toes stick out so I like them looking pretty! But as I am a hot weather, summer lover, I love to have my toes polished in pretty summer colors, like hot pink! I clash with my fingers, but it doesn't bother me too much!

Caramel dip from these apple slices I am munching on. Now it's all over my keyboard ... I know that's not what you are looking for, though ...

I just had a gel mani Tuesday. I went with a Shellac brand nude with gold glitter on top. I love the dark shades too this time of year. But I did 3 dark mani's in a row...needed something lighter for a change. The mani before this I had a deep purple that was from the OPI Iceland collection, Turn on the Northern Lights.

Today I just have clear strengthener with a matte topcoat but up until yesterday I had "God of Mischief" by Rogue Lacquer. Gorgeous green with tons of holo glitter. None of the online photos of it I've seen do it justice! The next manicure will be a little more toned down (maybe).

I’ve been doing my nails at home the past few months. I usually do them twice a week. When I sit at the bar, wear my reading glasses and pay attention to what I’m doing, they look pretty good. Last night I decided to change my dark polish to a lighter color to match the dress I was planning to wear today. I polished them in a poorly lit room, sitting on the bed, while watching tv. So, all things considered, they don’t look half-bad! I like this color for a change from the dark I’ve had on for a while. I don’t have the bottle on me now, but I think this is the one I used.

A multichrome polish from an indie company called Shine. The name of the color is "Spellbound". It shifts between red, copper, green, and cyan depending on the type of light and angle of the light source. I love special effects polishes, especially color shift formulas. And Shine has some great ones.

I am wearing Essie "Bare with Me". It's a peachy nude. Frankly, I don't like it.
It came in a 6 pack from Costco. I love the gray/purple color in the collection "Winning Streak". I wore that last week.

gar I love that color! My nails are naked today. I had to take my polish off for work yesterday and I work again tomorrow. The no nail polish rule is the one thing that I hate about my job.

Nothing is on my nails. I've been stressed and have picked off all my polish. I've also been bitingly nails (again, stress) so I need my pinkie nail to grow out some before I get a manicure again.

I was tired of dark so I switched it up this week to OPI's I Can Never Hut Up. It's an iridescent grayish-green. My Zoya wide brushes came today- they are going to make life so much easier! It takes me forever to do my nails with those little skinny brushes and I end up making a huge mess because I overload my brush to try to cover my nail faster. I hope these brushes are as good as the ones in OPI polish.

Timely thread. Just tonight, I took off the French manicure I had for the wedding, filed my nails back short, and put on Zoya "Zanna" - kind of a dusty rose pink.

Accent nail TOKEYO LIGHTSNothing Toulouse on the rest!My first time using the strips and I love them. Next week I will be sporting the nails below! These are 100% nail polish strips. I haven't seen anything else like it. I will post a pic once I receive my order and put the strips on my nails. =) Turkey TrotSpolier: I just became a consultant for this company. Order through my link below and I will send you a free set of accent nails (for two nails, or 4 if you are able to cut them in half! The best deal is to buy 3 nail polish strips and you get the 4th set free! If your nails aren't super long (like mine in the first picture) you can cut the strips in half. I get two manicures out of one set, or a manicure and a pedicure. Shipping charges are minimal on your order. (I only paid $3 for my order of 4 sets and I think it was the same for 8 sets! I didn't go beyond that in my cart.) These are great stocking stuffers! If you buy 3 sets at $13 ea, getting the 4th for free and cut these in 1/2, each custom manicure you give yourself is less than $5! Video links on how to apply your strips!

I have the remnants of some basecoat I threw on in a haste three weeks ago. It's 95% chipped off.
It's not a quality look.

I have Essie's Decadent Dish on right now. It is a deep dark brownish burgundy. I will put something on new tonight because it is really worn after cooking and cleaning.

OK. I will admit that I am slightly obsessed with Color Street Nails. Was going to wait til the 30th to change out my turkey nail strips, but I am not that disciplined. My nails tonight! PM me if you'd like a free sample.
