I have some old cardstock that has a different color core. The outside is black but when you tear or distress it, it shows a different color inside.
I have long since lost the packaging so don't have a clue who made it but seeing as I haven't scrapped in years I have to assume it's old. LOL
Anything like that still around?

Tim Holtz has some called Kraft-Core (?) that I bought at Joann’s as recently as a year ago.

The company is Core’dinations. Wasn’t it called Black Magic? The company seems to have been sucked up by American Crafts.

I know what you're talking about, I had or have some at one point. I haven't seen anything like it at my local stores.

I had some Core'dinations like that that I loved tearing! Or embossing and then sanding.

I remember that. We used to use emery boards or special tools to distress cardstock and if the core was white it was inked as well. The colored core was really popular. Ah, the good old days.

Tim Holtz just introduced a new line of metallic cardstock that is 3 layers - metallic, white and kraft. You can check his Facebook for a video. He was embossing, then sanding to expose the various layers. Pretty cool!

Does CTMH cs still have cs with white core? Most of the heavier pp (authentque, BoBunny,, Carla Bella) has white or cream core

I used to design for WorldWin paper and they had a line but I'm 99% they quit making it several years ago.
I'm thinking there was another one that hasn't been mentioned but it's not coming to me. If I think of it I'll be back...

Yes, Core'dinations (don't know where they got that spelling from; it always bothered the English teacher in me). I still have almost a whole pad of it. Time to break it out for the holidays! Thanks for the reminder!

My Joann's still carries Coredinations paper - if you have one nearby, you might try that? Or online perhaps?

Thanks for the reminder! I have a whole pad of the Chocolate Box line somewhere- must search for it. The outer colour is brown but when you distress it the core colours are pink. mint , blue I think. I remember wanting it so badly I found someone who sold from home and had to go pick it up somewhere (quite expensive too)- and of course have never used it EVEN ONCE!!! Corinne

I just picked up some at cranberrycat.com with one of my orders, that’s where I found the old basic grey I was looking for.

I remember sanding core'dinations it made a royal mess everywhere -- like super evil glitter only worse.
