And the mind eraser pen from Men in Black.
I just saw a KFC commercial where the Colonel was doing the final dance from Dirty Dancing with Mrs. Butterworth.
Can they just just stop doing commercials with the Colonel. They are all so creepy!

The Colonel must be rolling over in his grave about now.

I thought it was funny. The colonel doesnt creep me out nearly as much as the burger king commercials years ago. Something weird about its smiling face!

I can't get beyond the fact that people eat chicken with waffles and syrup! Dear god! It sounds strange to me as well (I have never had it) but when you think about it, we eat a lot of other meat with waffles and syrup (bacon, sausage, steak) so why not chicken?

I have no idea what Yorkshire pudding or gala pie are. That being said, I just realized that I was thinking of meats that we typically eat with eggs, but the question was about meat with waffles. Although it is common to eat bacon or sausage with waffles, same as it is with eggs.

I can't get beyond the fact that people eat chicken with waffles and syrup! Dear god! Just last night I was chatting with my dd (Texas) and I asked her what was all that noise ? She proudly said that they had fried chicken and waffles for dinner and she was cleaning the waffle iron. 😳

This is why it sounds so, erm, unusual. It makes a delicious sweet and savory taste that is just so good when done right. I wouldn’t think of ordering it at KFC though. It is something I would only trust a good restaurant to do for me (I don’t make fried chicken at home). It is not the much different then eating Yorkshire pudding with your meat, just a bit of sweetness added. I can’t wrap my head around Shepherd’s Pie. That is way too much stuff mixed together for me. I hate the KFC commercials, they are just creepy.

I'm old enough to remember commercials with the real Colonel Sanders, so all these fake Colonels just don't do it for me!

Maple syrup on fried chicken , yum. ( ir you cans always put honey on it. ) Mrs butterworth , no thank you. .
But honestly, I want chicken ( shredded chicken) gravy and waffles. That’s even better.

It's like bread, so I don't think it's similar to eating syrup and chicken.

I thought the combo sounded weird too but I decided to try it and it was SO good.
I also had a waffle, chicken and maple syrup pizza once. It was delicious! I was really hesitant but so glad I tried it.
I am not a KFC fan at all!
