I'm supposed to take them to a Christmas gathering.
Nothing fancy, just good old fashioned thick and slightly sweet baked beans from scratch. It seems many of the recipes out there call for doctored up cans of beans. Which I personally like, but with this gathering, from scratch will be best.

I have made these baked beans for a work potluck contest and won. They are delicious.
Killer baked beans
1lb breakfast sausage 1lb bacon 1lb kielbasa 2 cans kidney beans 2 cans butter beans 2 cans pork and beans 2 cans navy beans 1 cup ketchup 1 cup BBQ sauce 8 tablespoons mustard 1 cup Brown sugar 2 tsp salt 2 tsp pepper 2 tsp chili powder
Cook all of the meats prior to putting in the crock pot. Drain the butter beans and navy beans. Combine all ingredients in the crock pot and cook on low until hot.
Sometimes I will add a little more sugar, it depends a lot on what kind of BBQ sauce I use that time and how sweet it is.
