I'm excited about...
- My Head in the Clouds pre-order finally shipped last Thursday! I ordered most of the collection from A Cherry on Top and it should be here this week. I know Shimelle's newest collection isn't everyone's favorite, but I am excited to finally scrap some Disney photos from 2011 (two trips) and 2017 with this collection.
- CHA is in less than two months! I'm hoping for some great boy-ish collections and fun summer lines to debut. I believe Shimelle said in a recent Friday Live video that she already has that collection finished and she's working on the next collection. I wonder if that is the same for all the AC designers?
- Ordering albums. I have a pile of layouts that desperately need album homes and I'm hoping to have that project finished by the end of the year. I have made more scrapbook pages in 2018 than (possibly) ever before.

I'm excited to get started with scrapping our most recent Disney trip which was in July/August of this year. I'm still in the planning phase. I have paper and some embellishments picked out. I plan on making some DIY embellishments and tags and cutting some titles before I start to help me go with the flow once I get started. I will also cut some Mickey heads and Minnie bows, too. I'm not as excited about editing all the pictures but once I get started it's fine especially if I have some podcasts lined up to keep me going.

Elsabelle I feel the same way about editing photos. Some days I'm excited about it and others I hate it!

I’m excited to continue working in my Yellowstone vacation album. I started it at my 4 day retreat last weekend and got 36 pages done!! An all time record for me who is generally a slow scrapper! I’m also excited to get started with DD! It’s probably my favorite scrapbook project!

Let’s see. I’m excited I’ll be starting my Christmas cards next week. (I know, but I only have to make about 15).
I’m excited that my first kit order from Citrus Twist ever will be coming next month so,I can scrap my museum pictures from a couple of weeks ago.
Also I’m excited that I’ll finally have some time to dabble in some mixed media with a few new products I bought.

I had to order a photo (I need a home photo printer...) to finish a page that is 106 years in the making... about where my Grandpa immigrated from in 1912. I even found map paper that has the right country on it. Except for the missing photo I really like the layout and can't wait to finish it. The photo should be here on the 28th.

I'm excited to get back into scrapping pages of my visits with dgk's over the past month. I was finishing up the Disney album and making Christmas cards, but now I am ready to dive into those photos I printed on my way home.
Have a couple of new little boy lines, as yet completely unopened, that I want to use for the little guys. Excited about that.
I'm always excited about new products and techniques, so CHA is always something I look forward to, but after rummaging around in my Christmas supplies, and realizing that almost ALL my themed collections are as overflowing, I truly believe I could scrap for literally YEARS with nothing new except for glue, page protectors and albums. Might need some card stock. I purchased very few new Christmas supplies this year and want to challenge myself to use the scraps from Christmas Past in my cupboard for scrapping the season this year.

Good to know. Several years ago, she asked what everyone would like to see in papers and I said lines that leaned towards boys. She said they don't sell nearly as well. Perhaps other companies have had recent success with more masculine lines and she is following the trend?

Awww. It does disappoint me that her collections are filled with way too many pink/unicorns kind of thing. I'd love to see more of non gender/non flowers kind of stuff. I get that they make what sells, but sometimes you just want boy stuff. I have found more lines lately that are geared more towards males without being flat out traditional boy lines.

I’m excited to work with some things I recently purchased, mostly some old Basic Grey and Bo Bunny.l and just lots of pretty stuff. I’m excited for the FJ Black Friday sale, I’m hoping for something good. I am most excited for my 1st grandbaby that’s due in April. (It’s a boy!) I’m so excited to do baby pages again!!!

I get that they make what sells, but sometimes you just want boy stuff. I have found more lines lately that are geared more towards males without being flat out traditional boy lines. There have been several "boy" collections over the years that I would have bought except for the fact that they had the word "boy" all over them. I wish they'd churn out more unisex "kid" collections, or just ordinary non-gender-specific and non-age-specific collections, that would appeal to more people, and that we'd be able to use for a wider variety of layouts. For example, action/adventure/daredevil for boy/girl/men/women alike. Anyway, I'm excited about being able to scrap again after this weekend when my craft space will no longer be in use as a guest bedroom. I'm also waiting patiently for my LSS to get the Head in the Clouds which I ordered for the B-sides (I like the colors). And I ordered Pinkfresh's Indigo Hills 2 that has a pretty blue throughout it. I finished making my greeting cards and put them in the mail already, so now I can get back to making pages again!

I'm excited about an order I received last week that was full of older supplies including some Cosmo Cricket papers. I'd forgotten how beautiful they were and I'm excited to create with them (you know, once I get past the just admiring them stage).

Ok, I thought I was the only one that had to admire new supplies for awhile before I could use them lol And I love your new profile pic I'm looking forward to JYC starting as this is my first year doing a separate December album.

My Head in the Clouds order arrived! I was refunded for the flocked paper I ordered... I wonder if there was a manufacturing error? But everything is lovely. The sticker book is tiny! I actually like the smaller stickers. I wish there was a 6x6 paper pad, non-handwritten alpha Thickers, a mini-alpha sticker book (like in her Box of Crayons collection), and big paperclips (in both her Glitter Girl and Box of Crayons collections), but I love everything I received.

The photo should be here on the 28th.0 I hope you show us that page! My photo order was early. Here you go: House by BreetheFlea, on Flickr Now that I have the photo I was missing, I'm thinking this should be a two-page layout, the story that goes with it is really long... The blurb at the bottom (the back of the house photo) I think is from my great-grandma (wearing black in the picture) and says it's her house, and she wanted (I'm guessing the family) to know or remember where they lived, or something along those lines since she stayed in Europe and everyone else left for the US. I don't speak Slovenian and I had someone translate it once but I can't find where I wrote down what it says. Google says kuca is house (and kuca is one of the words written on the back of the photo) so that's where the title for the layout came from. My grandpa is in the middle, he immigrated to the US in 1912, he was 9. His aunt, the girl on the right, came with him, but as far as we can tell she didn't stay in the US.

It kind of makes up for the fact that my mom, who took a lot of pictures, never took a single one at Christmas going to have to get creative scrapping my childhood Christmas memories...

A few weeks ago I saw some diamond paintings on youtube. I realize that this has been going on for some time but I was totally in the dark. I was in the USA for a week this month and did not get one...but...it looks really interesting to me. I just keep thinking that I have a lot of other crafty supplies and need to use what I have before I start another hobby. Anyone tried this?

going to have to get creative scrapping my childhood Christmas memories... Seems like a good opportunity to use *all* the Christmas supplies, especially those pieces that are just too beautiful to cover up with pictures.
