DH and I waited outside one store for about 20 minutes because they were giving away free sloth stuffed toys. Other than that, the longest line I waited in today was maybe 10 minutes at Kohls. I went there to spend the $10 in store only coupon on some towels to donate to Gifts for Seniors. I went to Target, Walmart, Michaels, Petsmart, no lines at any of them. No crazy people, no drama. Just a fun shopping trip with DH. I ran into my parents out shopping too, which was funny, since we hadn't discussed our plans at all. DH and I wrapped up the trip with a stop at our favorite Chinese restaurant, where we bought a very large quantity of takeout that we will be enjoying all weekend. Awesome day!

Great! Held a hot cup of coffee in one hand the mouse to my computer in the other. No traffic, no people, and I did it all without wearing a bra.

I've opted out of the Black Friday crowds for several years now. Got quite a bit on online shopping done though. Have several gifts for DD on their way, as well as a new roasting pan for myself. Then I took a nice, long nap this afternoon. All in all, a successful BF here!

Awesome! I got a bunch of people shopped for, and it was smooth sailing. Target had nobody in the store, the longest line I saw was at Starbucks!

After Thanksgiving at my cousin's, we stayed in a hotel last night right next to a really nice mall. Slept late and then headed over to enjoy the holiday spirit & decorations. We did pick up a few gifts, had a delicious lunch complete with mimosas, and left when the crowd picked up later in the afternoon. We hit a gourmet food market on the way out which is always a dangerous stop for us... got a little carried away there. Now we're back home. We enjoyed an antipasti plate tonight with some of the finds from the market and now movie watching. All in all, a perfectly lovely day.

My hubby completely ruined our plans.
So I took a nap and went out to rake leaves from my front garden beds and started to remove all the dying mums and squishy pumpkins!
Chopped the good pumpkins up for the deer and critters.
Right now under a quilt watching Fred Claud with a cup of hot tea.

I bought a bag of cat food (not on sale) and got a free dog toy. That's pretty much it.

Mother informed me early in the week that we were going to Talbots this morning. I whined about getting out in the cold to go shopping to Dh but actually, it was a good morning. We just went to Talbots, Chicos and Steinmart which are all the closest stores to our house and there is zero traffic to get there. Quite a few people in the stores early. I was surprised as these aren't the usual Black Friday attractions.
I've been looking for a denim jacket and I love the one I got a Talbots for half price. I got a free scarf at Chicos. I don't think they were very happy with me but they had 40% off everything in the store and they handed me a $15 off one item card when I went in. The scarf had been reduced to $20 so when you take all the discounts, it was free!
We were home before 11 am. I did some online shopping yesterday. Mother is the only person I buy for so mostly I use these weekend discounts to get stuff for myself I was going to buy anyway.

I ended up going out only because I could avoid traffic and go into Petsmart and Ulta the back way. Louis the dog has been having trouble jumping onto the couch, so I bought some steps. Put the stupid things together and the steps are too narrow. Took them apart and I'll return them tomorrow... I did get 4 bottles of OPI polish at Ulta though.

Many Burton boxes arrived our house today. DH purchased new snowboards, jacket, pants, mittens... Haven't had new toys in 17 years. I took a break from snowboarding after kids and did my first run last year. I can't wait to do some carving!

I wasn't really planning to do any shopping but we had to go pick up DS's new glasses. I wasn't even thinking that it was Black Friday until we pulled up at the mall. DS wanted to do a little shopping. We stopped at AE and he got some khakis since his are too small, and I got a sweater. We then went to Scheel's. I looked at the clothes and then went to find him, but couldn't find him. So, I wandered over to the shoes. I ended up getting a pair of Sorel boots that were on sale. Stopped at Fred Meyer (similar to Target) and got my 1/2 off socks and underclothes for dh. Also got a pair of warm bearpaw boots for $36. Then stopped at Joann’s and bought more cardstock. Both stores and the one hour drive to the dog event were under two hours. Fred Meyer was busy but not horrible, I was there about 8:30, so I didn’t even get up early ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

Awesome! I shopped local and bought a cookbook I’ve been wanting for a long time (Six Seasons) and paid full price at the local bookstore. Then I came home a snuggled up on couch and bought stuff from Anthropologie and Sundance with their Black Friday discount ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

My husband and I went out Thurs. night and hit Macy's. I was interested in some cookware they had on sale, decided against it, but discovered that the Bali bras I wear were 65% off, so I bought eight! And I got a great deal at Michael's on a couple packs of stretched canvases and a set of paintbrushes for my niece's Christmas present. She loves to paint.
Today we went to a fancier shopping center in Richmond and my husband got me a purse and wallet for 30% off at Fossil. I won't get to enjoy them till Christmas, though! And I got some Yankee candles for $5.
Everywhere we went was busy, but not nuts, and everyone was pleasant.

I live in Ireland so all mine was online
I spent €500 with rodial and got over 2 grands worth of skincare, it’s my fav brand but usually too expensive. Some is for me and some is for gifts
I bought myself a dr Dennis gross led eye mask thing 20% off part of my Christmas from my dad.
I got a pair of uggs half price from money my dads best friend gave me for Christmas
Got both my nephews a Lego set for Christmas, my sister is quite strict on the amount we are allowed spend on Lego sets, so these sets are twice or 3 times bigger than I’m usually allowed get them as the had €55 off each set, I asked her first and so as long as I explain to the boys that it was the great deal etc she said it was fine. They are 5 and 7 and are going to be so excited. They are Lego obsessed.
I also got two necklaces in Swarovski 20% off so I’m very happy with my Black Friday

We got up early and went to Fred Meyer for 1/2 price socks and underwear. I could've slept in, but DD and my niece are both teens who enjoy the tradition of going out early BF morning with just the girls, so I did it. There weren't very many people there and we found some other things to buy too. Stopped by Walmart (no-one there at 6:30am!) and got a few DVD/Blu-Rays. Headed to the mall and went to Target and Old Navy before heading home.

I went shopping with DD25 as I have done for the last 25 years!
Stopped at Starbucks, then the mall. Started at Macys, got her some pans, house things before the 1 pm doorbusters were over.
Then did the mall for the next 7-ish hours; had to go back to the car to put our bags in and then to load up for the rest!
I know a lot of people don't like Black Friday but I will REALLY miss it someday when DD has something "better/more important" to do that day.
It is really so much fun to do it with her and yes, it is HER day!! I go overboard for her and I love it!! ( well and a few things for other people and me)
I guess I started early--she was born 3 weeks premature (which I realize isn't "that" early) on a Tuesday at 5 pm.
On Thursday morning I took her shopping at a store that ended up being Babies R Us. She was about 1.5 days old when we first went shopping!
Started early with her--she's practical but fun!!

I went to Michael's about 11. Bought 1 gift and more yarn. Then I stopped and brought home lunch for dh and I. I noticed this on the bag and got a chuckle out of it. Attachments:![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/thumbnailer/XsDBYEuwbunoCXEfEWXg.png)

Well DH had to work so we did our Thanksgiving today but we did BF shopping last night..we got so WM at 5:30 to wait for the items on pallets to be unwrapped at 6 and some entitled asshole thought it would be cute to unwrap a pallete early and get their item and it was like a domino effect once the one person did it they alllll did it so we got started early putting things in cart...I got to the toy section and two girls start fist fighting over the last white baby doll and I was trying to just get out of the way but got pushed into the cardboard bins of jeans. Cops came..blood on floor. Fun times. Funny thing is this is the second fist fight I witnessed at this store...2..3 years ago I watched two guys go at it over a Xbox. I got some good deals and had fun even though a few people were jerks.

Just finished up shopping for today. Online is great! I worked retail security for too many years, a lifetime ago. Refuse to set foot in a store this weekend.

I did some online shopping. I didn't find too many must have deals. I had ordered a couple items online for pick up at Target and they were ready to be picked up. So I decided to venture out and get that 20% off coupon for later use. The parking lot was full, but I didn't have to wait in line at all. Totally surprised.

I had no plans to go shopping but ended up getting dgd a gift at Walmart when dh needed to get an extension cord and I decided to go along. We were there at 6:30 (had been up since before 3 since were both really early risers) and it was very well staffed and not busy at all. Later I went to Payless where I got dgd a pair of snow boots and a pair of gold flats for $19.99 total. My best deal of the day was at AC Moore where I bought myself a border punch (reg price $24.99), two packs of Thickers ($5.49 each), a pack of wood veneer butterflies ($4.49), two candles, two packs of stick on bling and an ornament ($1-1.25 each). My total was $7.08! I used a 60% off one item coupon, 40% off total regular price purchase and a $10 rewards certificate they sent me. Total score for me and made it worth the 20 minute drive to the next state where there’s no sales tax.
