I have a few gift exchanges coming up and I want to purchase something that people will fight over rather than be disappointed with. What are some of your favorites that you love to "steal"?

For some odd reason a Boxcar Willie CD was very popular at the last Dirty Santa we did!

Here the things that get stolen most are wine/liquor or kitchen stuff (I thought we were going to come to blows over a set of colorful knives once).

I do not drink alcohol but the things that I see are wine or alcohol, movie tickets and gift cards.

I had an uncle that used to say... I don't want a gift unless it sloshes! Liquor for the win!

We don’t call it that, but the hottest item at the last Yankee Swap I attended was a remote fart machine.

Booze, Starbucks gift cards, and throw blankets. We do Dirty Santa with the adults at our family gathering and those are always the most stolen items.

Gift cards or chocolate/sweets are my favorites. I like things that are consumable and don't add to the stuff in my house.

Random thoughts of what our office party is like:
alcohol, fun stuff like shooters or mixes.
We had “fish & chips” last year that got stollen a few times. 2 actual live goldfish, with Pringles and a gift card.
A few things recycle and come back year after year, which is fun.
Salami sticks and cheese
Lottery scratch off tickets
Gift cards to lunch places close to the office

You probably don't want to go this way, but a large box of tampons is like gold.

I like to bring a Chia Pet. Those get fought over.

Alcohol, lottery tickets, fuzzy slippers, and chocolate have been popular at the ones I've been to.

I would fight for some good toilet paper. That stuff is pricey. LOL. Liquor is always good too.

Wine, chocolate, gourmet food items (local honey, flavored olive oils, good cheese), nice kitchen towels.
What I don't like to get are throw blankets of any kind. The last time I participated in one of these, I think a fourth of the gifts were throw blankets.

I don't understand! What do you mean by steal? These exchanges are played by many rules, but the one I am familiar with: Everyone picks a number, and you proceed by number order. 1 picks a gift. Number 2 can pick a wrapped gift, or steal what Number 1 unwrapped. etc. Most have a limit on how many times a gift can be stolen, and a no steal backs rule.

Walmart has neck messagers for $10. I got one for my work exchange. You could also get Kohl’s Big One throws.
