I dunno, we have a mountain lion that could take out many of these guys. Makes the bears look like a walk in the park.

ha! Those big lizards looks scary and could give you a nasty bite if you got too close but are essentially harmless. They'd keep the insects down.
We have some really nice wild life too, possums are cute, especially the ringtails, wallabies, Quokkas, sugar gliders, wombats, bilby etc. Lots of cute furry things that aren't poisonous and don't attack you.
look:
see that little face, and no biting!

They kept showing that kangaroo attack multiple times And that snake in the fridge door might actually be a decent diet idea if only it stayed right there😉 Yeah, we have rattlers & copper heads but they don’t just show up in your dresser drawer randomly But then again the bear stealing hot sauce & stuff from someone’s deck fridge is in Jersey abc13.com/pets/bears-steal-drinks-hot-sauce-in-kinnelon/788608/

Yours must be different from ours? I think the possums here are cute. 😅 But then I’m used to animals like that. They’re pretty misunderstood, in my observation. Gotta love an animal that eats lots of mosquitoes and ticks.

Gotta love an animal that eats lots of mosquitoes and ticks. The babies are cute.. They are good for the land, but not so cute when older and snarling...

As an Australian that has lived in the usa, I was always way more scared of bears! They are huge and could eat you!

The second photo in the article made me gasp. Yes! he was on the news here yesterday and I gasped as well when I saw him too. He's huge. I assume he probably has some sort of pituitary tumor...usually harmless/benign but it can make animals grow bigger. Many human "giants" have pituitary tumors.

Spiders don't bother me in the least, but I have a huge snake phobia. I think I could handle pretty much every other creature shown except for the snakes.
But then, we have snakes here too. At least they don't nest or make their homes in our houses though-much.

Aussie possums are MUCH sweeter looking than the critters we have here. I was on high alert for spiders and snakes but was happy to not see a single one. I was nervous! Ha

I think the one in Steph's photo is a Golden Brushtail possum...they are not very common:
I agree - very cute, although most marsupials are.
