And it's so hard.
One is actually still with us, but we're guessing not for much longer. Depending on the situation, she may be going to the vet's tomorrow. She was absolutely fine, but went downhill very suddenly with kidney failure. They were littermates, so I guess they came to us together and are leaving us together. At the vet, before we found out the prognosis, they were all telling us how amazing she looked for her age, and even mentioned that they were amazed that her teeth were fabulous. We just expected to have more time with her.

No matter their age, it is always heartbreaking when it is time for them to leave us. Thinking of you and your dear ones tonight.

I am very sorry you are going through this. Our 15 year old cats both had to be put down within two months of one another in 2017. I had my own grief, for sure, but as a mother, it wrecked me to see my DDs grief. The cats had been with us from kittens when she was only 2 years old.
Hugs for you. I know how hard it is losing a pet. They really are a part of the whole family dynamic.

Oh no. I’m a cat mama and just the thought of losing any of them is so painful. I’m so sorry you’re having to endure saying goodbye to two of your babies in such a short period of time. ((Hugs))

I’m soooo sorry you’re going thru this. It’s so hard to let them go but it’s the right thing to do if they’re suffering. I lost my black lab, Miller, on Halloween and the past month has been unbearable. The holidays just make it worse.
I’ll keep you in my thoughts & prayers ((HUGS))

I'm so sorry. No matter how long we have them for, it's never enough time. My last cat made it to 19 yrs and 7 months. The one before 19 yrs and 3 months. Even with those long lives it just wasn't enough time.

I’m so sorry. I lost my 20 year old this summer and I still call her when I go in my bedroom out of habit She always answered me... I totally get that--Since my first cat died, I am JUST letting go of opening the front door really slowly because he loved to run out and get carried back in. And I keep thinking I hear/see him at random times.

I am so sorry. We lost our 19 year old cat and 12 & 13 year old chow mixes within 6 months of each other. It was beyond devastating. Our kids were 6 & 2 and didn't understand death yet, which made it even harder. I hope you can find comfort in the thought of them playing at the Rainbow Bridge together. Enjoy what time you have left with your sweet kitty.

I am so sorry, that is so hard. We lost our sweet baby of 10 years 2 months ago. I miss her so much, I even dream of her! Our little guy, 3 years old, misses her too but I'm just not ready to add another cat to our family. It's just too hard when you lose them!!

Sending hugs. It is hard and sad to lose our fur babies. We said goodbye to our 16 year old kittie Belle on September 11th and our 20 year old Muffy on November 12th. They will always be part of our lives.

I'm so sorry. I understand how you feel. Several years ago, we lost both of our cats (littermates, about 7-8 years old) within 4 months of each other, both unexpectedly. I was literally just numb with shock and disbelief for the longest time. We'd expected to have them for many more years.
