I know I used this before, but dang it I can't find it now. It's a form you printed out, that was a shipment release authorization, so they could leave the pkg, where to leave it, and a signature. I can't find it online. I've googled. Doesn't someone have a hubby that works for Fed ex? There is no fed-ex location near me to pick up a form. Help?!!.

I have left a note before, and that worked. I also spoke to the FedEx man through my Ring doorbell recently and asked them to leave a package - that worked, too!
At one time, either FedEx or UPS had a method to indicate that you wanted a package left on the tracking page. I don't remember which though, and I haven't noticed it recently (but maybe I just haven't looked at the tracking for one that needed a signature).

If you have the FedEx app you can add delivery instructions for each package. It's free to get an account.

I have the fed ex app. I looked and looked for delivery instructions, but there's nothing. The fed ex app is pretty useless i think. They want to make you think you have all these options, but then to actually find and do it? yea. not there.
