I am looking at... Mindful Be mindful of what goes in my mouth (hello new allergies) Be mindful of the time I waste on line, doing nothing, not being productive Be mindful of my relationship with dh, the words I use while talking to him Be mindful of my actions Be mindful of how I parent my kids...loosen the reins, give more independence, let them do more to work on their life skills Be mindful of my activity during the day Be mindful of how much sleep I get Can I steal that? It's perfect.

My word is "HYGGE" (pronounced hue-guh not hoo-gah). It's a Danish word used when acknowledging a feeling or moment, whether alone or with friends, at home or out, ordinary or extraordinary as cosy, charming or special. Hygge in its simplest form is really about being present. It can happen several times a day, anywhere, anytime – all it takes is you. Nothing else.

I’m choosing the word “enough.” I had it last year too (and may choose it next year too).
I struggle believing that I am enough, but I am.

Mine is show up. ( and love.)
Show up for people and for myself.
Like Show up at the gym. Show up at work (not just physically but contribute more)
Show up for my daughter.
(But I also want more love in my life.. so that is there.. but I think I see and feel the love when I show up!)
If anyone wants some writing prompts to help you choose a word let me know. I recently taught a workshop where everyone came up with a word and made a vision board in 90 minutes!

Retire. I found out today that I can actually retire when I turn 62 in May. I had planned to work until Dec of 2019. All roads lead to retirement now.
