Forget the ornaments! Just get a few more cats to decorate the tree.

Great photo! I wish I had as cute pics of my kids with the tree as you do of the cat!

I've got 3 cats and a naked Christmas tree! If it didn't come with the lights already attached it would not have lights either. None of my cats will stay away from my tree so I just don't put any ornaments on it which makes me a bit sad because I purposely buy ornaments when I travel so I've got a nice collection of them.
I love the 3 cats though so this is how it will be while I am owned by them.

My cat's name is Zoe Bartlet, too! She is gray. She quacks like a duck. I do have a female orange tabby. She is almost 10 years old now. Her name is Charlie (Young).
The newest addition to the family is Jed. Jed Barklet. He is a Great Pyrenees puppy. Zoe Bartlet and Charlie Young are afraid of him. But Toby Ziegler (another gray Russian Blue) just smacks him around when he gets annoying.
Your Zoe is very cute!!

That’s one of the best tree photos I’ve seen this year

I love this post so much! Could we please see a picture of Izzie Bella? Pretty please? Since you asked, here is Bells looking unhappy at the kitty scarf from scrap fabric I put on her. That's what she gets for trying to "help" me sew.

We anchor our tree with string and cup hooks to the wall. Cats require this.

Thanks for all the love for my kitties. They are incredibly spoiled now that the kids are away at school most of the year. DH got me a tiny kitten for our first Christmas together, right after he found out he was going to be deployed to Operation Desert Shield. P.F. Hooah was the greatest cat in the world. In the 21 Christmases we had her, she only touched 1 tree. It was a sad Charlie Brown thing that we bought when we were living overseas. We bought it from the Boy Scouts on post instead of getting a big one from one of the German lots. That thing started raining needles almost from the time we put it up. A slight breeze caused it to drop needles. One day Hooah walked up to the tree and touched the tip of her nose to the tip of one of the branches and got a shower of pine needles on top of her. She never bothered another Christmas tree, LOL. Oh, and not to be out done, Zoe had to have a scarf of her own.

Last night with the help of the cats and dogs the kids were only able to get the lights on the tree. It was also in part because DH loves lights and wants there to be no exposed tree, just lights. (Kidding, but it's close to reality. ) So this morning we were all in the living room and DD decides to put a few of the pseudo-unbreakable balls on the tree. Less than a minute later it hits the floor. I told the family we just need to put the tree skirt under the tree and place the balls directly on the floor, artfully arranged, of course and cut out the middle-man, or in this case, middle cat.] Life hack for next year! Take the hanging wire off of your ornaments and replace them with a small piece of green pipe cleaner. One twist onto the branch, no more ornaments on the floor! (At one point I had three toddlers....at the same time. )
