All of my shopping is finished.
And all of the gifts are wrapped, sans bow, which will be stuck on as I'm sticking them under the tree late night Christmas Eve.
Pretty sure this is the first year in so many that I will not be struggling to wrap at 2am Christmas morning.

You can go off some people I'm probably 75% there. The rest will be done by the weekend. Thankfully, everyone seems a bit more laid back this year and rest and relaxation is the main gift we are looking forward to.

The tree is up (as of Saturday), the house is decorated, MOST of the presents are wrapped (I think), and there's some cookie dough in the freezer.
Thanks for posting this thread, I was in a panic thinking about all the things I DON'T have done - it's nice to look at what HAS been accomplished already.

Should have added that I read holiday as vacation and thought, well, my holiday related accomplishment was to meet my future husband on holiday nearly thirty years ago!

Lots started, nothing finished. Well, the tree is up if that counts! We don't have plans for the weekend and I look forward to a little shopping for last-minute things, baking and cooking! Last year is the first year we wore PJ's on Christmas Eve....really look forward to that again, it just seemed to make everything more relaxing and less stressful!

The tree and house are decorated, gifts are all bought, and most gifts are wrapped and under the tree (one came yesterday, one came today, and one is coming Thursday). I don't need to do any baking or cooking, but I have a list of things to do before we go to my folk's house.

Shopping pretty much finished. Wrapping almost done.
Ham and turkey bought. Just have to buy everything to make side dishes.
Remodeling our living room, so paint finished. New couch comes tomorrow. New fireplace today. Hoping to put ornaments on the tree tonight (tree has been up since Day after Thanksgiving but we didnβt decorate it in case we had to move it).
Just need to buy a new area rug for living room. Hoping to find one before Christmas!

All the decor has been up since Dec 1, cards have been sent, gifts are all purchased, packaged and shipped that need to be, most of the food for the meals been purchased. I just have to finish wrapping my sons gifts, fill the stockings, bake a couple of things after work this week to bring into work on Friday and for Christmas (they'll be easy things, because I broke my toe last week and standing for too long just makes it ache a bit). This weekend I'll buy the final food items and then Christmas eve I'll put together the Christmas breakfast casserole and prep what I can for Christmas dinner. Pretty easy this year around our house. I like when Thanksgiving is earlier in Nov. It makes my Christmas prep seem easier for some reason.

Shopping done, wrapping not even started, tree only half decorated. I've told the kids I may just toss everything under the tree unwrapped and let them fight over it! LOL
I HATE wrapping presents.

My shopping is finished and I did pretty well with sticking to a list and staying on a budget this year. In the past, Iβve felt compelled to keep picking up things I never planned on getting as the days crept closer to Christmas.

The tree and decorations have been up for a while. All but one or two gifts have been purchased/ordered and some have been wrapped (mostly placed in gift bags).
Iβve been home with my husband since Thanksgiving, as heβs been undergoing radiation treatments for a met to the brain and the steroid heβs on has caused serious fatigue issues. Youβd think Iβd also have cards made and sent and some other things done, but it seems like I get very little done. Thereβs at least one appointment almost every day and I am not very productive when we are home.

Iβm all set! I could do Xmas right now! LOL Never been this prepared. I stuck to a list. No last minute pick ups.
We go out Xmas eve, just me and DH after my 20 and 22 year olds head to their Dads. We meet back up Xmas day a a Japanese restaurant with the rest of my family and then go to my sisters for gifts and desserts.
We do low stress Xmas. Itβs taken a while to get to this place but Iβll never go back!

I need this thread! I feel so behind but have been home for 2 days because I lost my voice and have gotten a lot done that I should celebrate. House has been decorated since Black Friday. Our Christmas craft weekend is packed up. All presents bought, just waiting on a few deliveries. Mailed out gifts for 9 people today. Had my husband drop one off to a friend near his work today. All gifts for work (14 between the 2 of us) are out or in my car to go in tonight. Am about halfway through wrapping. Have some cookie dough from a fundraiser Iβm going to bake, have the stuff to make Buckeyes this weekend. I host Christmas dinner. I get off work at 8am and work again that night. So, Iβve ordered dinner and pies and donβt feel bad about it. I need to finish wrapping and get the guest bedroom ready and clean house. Iβm off Thursday and Friday and should be able to wrap it up. That leaves baking and Buckeyes for Saturday. If I get ambitious Iβll make a few more things, not sure if thatβll happen. That list makes me feel accomplished, thanks for starting this thread! Merry Christmas! Laura

I'm feeling too accomplished so far and that scares me because it's never happened before. I just know there's something major I'm forgetting.
Tree and decorations have been up since Thanksgiving weekend. My cards were all addressed in early Nov and dropped in the mail the first of Dec. Gifts are bought except for one and almost finished being wrapped. Bulk of grocery shopping is done, will get the last minute things Friday. Baking is done except for DH's chocolate chip cookies. I have to wait until the last minute for those or they'd be gone by Christmas. The dogs and I have all been to the groomers and the house is clean will just do a quick touch up over the weekend.
After reading this I'm even more nervous, I've never been this caught up and this relaxed so close to Christmas. Something is seriously wrong in my world.

I haven't smacked the shit out of my ex-husband while dealing with holiday visitation schedules. Jerkwad has the same damned court papers that I do, and yet...
I'm expecting a medal.

The tree and other decorating is done, cookies are made and I made 4 dozen mini-cheesecake cupcakes this afternoon. Most presents are bought but no wrapping has taken place. Yet. I may tackle that this weekend.
I still need to food shop for Christmas dinner and get a couple of stocking stuffers, but otherwise I'm farther ahead by this time than I normally am so, yay me!

Tree is up and decorated as is the house.
Cards have been made and mailed (granted I only sent to ten people and just mailed them this afternoon).
All but one present has been purchased and all have been wrapped except that one and one that hasn't arrived.
One gathering done, two more two go.
Cookies have been made and eaten, more will be made and eaten and given away. Off to make some in a minute actually.

For the win! lol made me laugh, in sympathy of course. Here: Tree is up. Some presents under it. Rest of presents ready to go and organized by recipients. (Christmas Eve extended family and then immediate familyChristmas stuff) Cards are out. Decorated what little I will. Menu planned. Food all bought except for veggies/perishables. May make list and let/make DS go pick that stuff up later. I'm pretty much ready to go except for that last minute grocery trip DS will have to make. oh, and tidying up from wrapping/getting ready. It's pretty laid back here so nothing fancy. What's not done probably doesn't need to be and no one will expect or notice.

I'm mostly done. Finished my baking last night, decorated the tree & house today, have all the gifts for DD purchased and wrapped. I have some gifts for DH, but I'm afraid one of them won't show up so I'll be going out later this week to see if I can find something else to put under the tree with his other small gifts. Still need to mail a couple of Christmas cards with checks and maybe pick up a few more things for the stockings. I'm usually a little further behind so now I'm sitting here thinking I must have forgotten something!

Two trees up and decorated along with the house decorations. Hosted one holiday party already. Ordered & hung two new personalized stockings for our growing family. Almost done buying gifts & stocking stuffers. Most of what I have bought already has been wrapped and put under the tree.
Still need to finalize menu plans and do some holiday baking. Still have to host a little drop-in for friends. And anxiously awaiting arrival of beloved family!

besides my stuff and a pair of gloves for Morgan, Everything is here and wrapped. I have most things in boxes since some little boy can read his name. So to keep him out nothing is tagged just wrapped and in old shipping boxes.

My tree is up and decorated. All of my gifts are wrapped with ribbon and bows, except for 4. Takes me forever to wrap, but they look pretty! Went to liquor store yesterday and today... Will pickup my groceries from Walmart tomorrow and go to Publix on Friday- our family is doing Christmas on Saturday. Menu is planned. Found my Christmas crackers at TJ Maxx- my 3 DGDS will love them! Have NOT cleaned or baked!
