lisapea glad you think sketchy saturdays would be helpful to you it's the middle of the night for kiwigirl but i'm sure she'll respond to you in the morning
in the meantime, you might also enjoy our monthlong sketch extravaganza sketchtember
I'll tag kiwigirl, but my understanding is that there will be Sketchy Saturdays as long as we have hosts to find and post the weekly sketch.
Would love to have you participate, and if you would like to secure a particular Saturday to host (basically find and post a sketch and then--hopefully--a sample of your take on it), just let us know!

I hope they continue too lisapea, it's my favourite kind of challenge. And I credit Sketchtember as the single one thing that got me scrapbooking again after many years of not scrapping.
Yes lisapea ! I was taking this weekend off cause the board is super quiet but LisaDV will be here next Saturday with a sketch and we will continue Anyone who wants a weekend to post a sketch just yell out either here or PM me. All you need to do is choose a sketch and post it. If you have time to make a sample LO that's great but if not, no problem. You also get to choose how many points to award for the team challenges, if you want to add a twist or whatever you want! I'm glad you are liking them lisapea !
Yay! Thank you, everybody! I'm really looking forward to making time to be creative in 2019.
I will follow along for a month or two until I get the hang of the process and how points work, etc, and will definitely join in on heading up some challenges.

Awesome! If you sign up for a team, your team mates will give you lots of advice on how to count points. The real fun is creating something, and sharing with people who "get it". Also seeing people's takes on challenges may give you an idea of how you might want to put your spin on them.
If you want to see past challenges, just to get an idea what they may look like--or to give any of them a try--you will find links to all of them in the Master List of Challenges, HERE The lists go back to 2015, and there may be some in there that appeal to you.
For example, KikiPea has been posing monthly sketch challenges for years!

Nah, don't bother about following along for a month or two, just jump right in!! kiwigirl and stinkerbelle , make sure you put lisapea on one of the teams for January.
I followed along in my first month (which happened to be Sketchtember) and one week in I really wished that I'd put myself down for a team. And you don't have to worry if you don't get many points, nobody cares.
Good advice AussieMeg! She is right lisapea, just jump on in and join a team, even if you don't get any points, nobody cares. It is all about the creating and getting stuff done, the points are a bonus
I'll take a Saturday if you need me to kiwigirl . Just give me a few days notice!
Would you like Jan 5th? Set whatever twist or challenge points you like and post it whenever it suits you as well, we know you're a lot of hours ahead of all the rest of us down there in summertime
I'm good for Jan. 12 kiwigirl! I am excited. I haven't been scrapping because life/Christmas seems to be happening and am really looking forward to January challenges and the like!
