I would like to know. I have never seen those in any store. Me neither! But I live up north. My daughter who's living here for a year says that everything is pickled down here. And my son who lives in Georgia says that he feels like you can buy every part of the pig where he lives. lol

Mmmmmmm, yum [/sarcasm] I've never seen pickled pigs lips, though I have seen pickled pigs feet. I seem to remember my grandfather eating them with eggs.

Take an unopened bag of chips and crush them up then add a pig lip. Squish the crushed chips onto the pig lip, then eat. One thing to note: the pig lips are not cooked but brined. I'm not a fan, mostly because of the spongy texture (texture is a big thing with me and food). They taste like a spicy sour (spongy) pickle. It's an acquired taste. Some people grill them too.

I have pickled Asian pears, and many vegetables. But having enough pig lips to fill a quart jar is giving me the willie nillies first off. I will leave this to the professionals and to those who want these. I am neither.

That has got to be one of the grossest things I have ever read. GAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
